Congrat's on making the best decision you could ever make and kicking the can to the curb. Their is alot of great support on this site and a bunch of great quitter's that would drop anything to help a fellow quitter in need. Reach out all you can and get some digit's and make some great new friend's, that will help make your quit even stronger. If you need anything at all just pm me.

Well Done, just keep putting your name in that list in your quit group. Do it early, do it often and honor that word that you are making to yourself to keep the nicotene out of your body for that day. Its an easy thing to say, but can be hard to do. PM me if you need anything.

I quit with you one day at a time.

Welcome aboard. Keep that shit out of your mouth no matter how tempting it gets. She'll tell you that just one more is ok, but she's lying her ass off just like before.

Hello all.

I think I am a day late with this post, since yesterday was Day 1, but here I am.

I have been dipping Skoal Original Fine Cut (with a brief flirtation with Copenhagen) everyday since 1981. When I think of all the time, energy and money I wasted on that little green can it sickens me.

I quit.

I have said that too many times to count over the years, but this time it is going to be the truth. Thankfully, there has not been a health scare that is leading me to this. I am just flat out tired of something the size of a hockey puck ruling my life. I have changed my schedules and my habits to accommodate that little green can for too long.

It ends today- well, yesterday actually, since I am writing this on Day 2.

So far it SUCKS. I really want a dip. I will not take one. I will beat it.
TRC you are not alone! I restarted up in 1981 after a 2 year pause and 7 years before that! We've done some really stupid things but that doesn't matter the only thing that matters is what we do today!! Today I quit for me, and I quit with you!!

you already are getting great guidance from BWB. Read everything you can on this site, learn what addiction is and how tobacco is a poison we all self-administered. Post roll every morning pledging not to use today. Do it again tomorrow. Congrats on your decision, you can be quit if you use the tools available here. PM me if I can help.
I'll quit with you today!
