I've been putting off quitting for a while, but I'm making the leap now. Started dipping about 6 years ago at age 13. I figure the sooner I quit, the better. I'm going to school at Texas AM in College Station and I have relied on snuff to get me through the rough classes (despite the tobacco ban on campus). Looking forward to not having anymore spit bottles around or needing to get a pinch just to get through class! Any support here would be greatly appreciated, my dipping friends don't approve of my decision to quit.
Great decision. This is about determination, drive and accountability. How bad do you want it. I can bet you one thing. Your friends won't stick around if this happens.

I've heard that 3% your age make the decision to quit and stay quit. This is actually good news. means you can do it. Post roll and keep your word! Quit with you today.
College can be a super stressfull environement that encourages nicotine use. But it is also the place and time in your life where major changes are made to your person. Make the right ones. Stick around.

The poison sucks. I hate it. I hated it this morning, I hated it at noon, I hated it at supper and I hate it tonight. I enjoy hating it so much I'm going to wake up tomorrow and start over hating it. I quit with anyone that wants to hate it with me.

Welcome to the March Group!

I'm working on Day 11 right now. The first 3 days are going to be miserable, but you can do it. You know how I know that? I made it.

Do what you have to do to make it through. Fake Dip, gum, seeds, whatever. Just no nicotine. The Fake Dip (Smokey Mountain) really helped me (and it still is).

Proud to quit with you today. PM me if you need anything.

Welcome to KTC Birdcage. First and foremost, you will need to post Roll. Roll is your daily promise to yourself and all of your new brothers and sisters that you will not use tobacco in any form that day. You will post your name and the number of days you are quit each day in the March 2014 quit group. Each and every day you will post your promise. No exceptions. That is the price of admission to KTC. Nothing more and nothing less. The reason you are put in March is that will be the month if you join us today that you will celebrate being 100 days free of nicotineÂ…your Hall of Fame date.
Now that you know the basics, it is time to read all you can on this site. Go to the welcome center and that will get you started. Post roll and look up at your inbox (1). That is a personal message from me with my telephone number.
How to post roll:

Congrats on the best decision you will ever make...and nice job on Posting Day 1 today. Wayne

Quote
man your coworkers are fuckin with your quit? time to teach um the tryed and true ktc way that you and your quit are not to be fucked with. next time one a those fucks offers you a dip heres what you need to do:

1. take can with big smile
2. open can
3. rotate arm at the wrist 180 degrees, there by emptyin contents of can on ground
4. step on pile of worm shit
5. twist at knee and ankel to grind worm shit back in to ground
6. replace lid
7. hand can back to coworker with a smile
8. remind him that you will be willin to help him agin any time
9. repete as nessassary til no buddy will ever offer you a dip agin. evin if you ask for it.

ps if you can piss on the worm shit thats evin better then grindin it in to the ground.
should work with your dipping friends. either they will respect your quit, or they'll burn through money. their choice.

man that's the second time i had to bust this out this week.

Dipping Friends? Don't let that hold you back or be an excuse. Stick around and read some more on this site. You need some conviction behind what you are saying. You figure the sooner you quit, the better? Seems to me there are no benefits to quitting later. That is unless you enjoy spending your money on dip and increasing your chances for some nasty health issues.

You are young, don't push this off another day. I would do anything to go back and quit earlier. Read some of the other intro threads and realize the importance of this decision. Sorry for sounding pushy, but I am jealous of you. Don't throw this opportunity away. Kill the Can is a special community of quitters. Welcome.

Great job on posting day one in roll! Trust me you can make it through class without a pinch. You will be surprised what you can do without dip if you stick around.

*Spoiler Alert* You can do everything without dip.
