Our stories are very similar. Post daily and stick with it and I guarantee you will stay QUIT. I have 508 days under my belt that can attest to that.

Keep it up and shout if you need anything.

Quote from: ousuenerThanks for all of the encouragement.Ã,  I'm well into Day 2 now . . . deep in the fog, but staying strong.Ã,  Is it possible to overdose on sunflower seeds?
Not possible at all but I will tell you to make sure you drink a ton of water or all the salt will dry you up like a prune!

Keep up the good work the fog will lift, remember this as a deterant to not chew after today!

You will read alot of guys saying embrace the suck.... that is where your at! Nobody wants to go thru the suck!

Stay close to the site and enjoy all the seeds you can brother!
I was just joking about OD'ing on sunflower seeds, but if it were possible I think it would have happened by now. I might need to take some of that money I saved on dip today and splurge on some beef jerky.

I'm only going through the suck one time . . . and this is it!
you got it man- proud of you!!

Quote from: ERDVMWell fuck .... Bedlam week...shit. Ok even though your name ignites a visceral rage in this OSU alumn, I am still glad you are here. Make it through today. Whatever it takes. Put on your old Brian Bozworth jersey, grab your Barry Switzer signed football, stick in the 1986 orange bowl tape in the VCR, and play wishbone with your peepee. Just don't stick any of that shit in your mouth today. PM me if you need anything.

Congrats on your choice to quit! 32 years is a very long time, but there is no reason that you can't see this through. Be strong, post roll and ask for help when it gets to be too much to bear. PM or email me if you need anything. Remember: You can do this. You will do this.

I see you posted great job! No looking back here. Count the hours now - soon it will be days, weeks, months and so on. I'm 64 days clean after 27 years of stuffing my face with that death weed. I did it - so can you!

Quote from: ousuenerI'm 41 years old and have been a nicotine addict for the last 32 years. Mine is probably a familiar story. I started stealing dad's Copenhagen when I was 8. When I was 9, I saw a TV commercial for raspberry-flavored Happy Days. Later that afternoon, I convinced the clerk at the grocery store that my dad would kick my butt if I didn't come home with some candy flavored chew. As they say, "the rest is history."

By the time I started high school more than 25 years ago, I was using one can of Kodiak per day. Yesterday, and nearly every day for the past 5 years, I have used two cans of Kodiak and/or Grizzly wintergreen a day.

My level of committment to nicotine has required an enormous amount of time, effort, money, and a very skilled dentist. Over the years I spent tens of thousands of dollars, and did some really, really stupid things to make sure I could spend every waking moment with a dip in my mouth. However, the only thing I've got to show for it all is an increased risk of cancer, and a 7-year old boy who thinks it's cool to spit.

I'm done. I had my last dip last night at 10:30. Thanks in advance for the support.
The promise is only a wish unless you go to your group now and post roll. If you are a man of your word, you are going to need that roll and support to get past the hell and war on nicotine you just waged!

Good job BTW. The nicotine bitch is a beast but now that I have a number of days under my belt....She is a joke!

Stay strong and get through the day. If you wake tomorrow, simply repeat.

RAGE on and destroy this bitch once and for all.
