I own a small business....6 employees. Nothing mind blowing. Just picking up and delivering documents around town. Mellow...low stress....fairly simple stuff....usually work about 5 hours a day. Since I quit 10 days ago: 1 car accident fortunately no injuries, 1 employee admitting he is an alcoholic and entering treatment, 1 employee quit and 1 employee father died. Can't keep up with all of the bullshit. WTF? If it weren't for posting roll today would have been my cave day.

Michael nice job posting roll so far and glad you are on board with our "don't hope, just quit" policy. Posting my support for you in April now. Let me know if you ever need anything.
"Post roll. Post more if you want to. That's the beauty of the place: We ask you post roll. We ask you to be honest. That's all. No more. No less. Be there for your brothers and ask for help when you need it." - Wastepanel 10/6/14

"What would you do to save your own life? If you were fighting cancer today would you suffer through Chemo, surgeries, try new a therapy? change your diet, go to church? What intolerable hell would you endure to simply live. When you have thought long and hard about that, think on this. Why not apply that attitude to your quit. Suffer through the temporary discomfort of withdrawal to achieve your freedom from a slow painful demise via nicotine. Your in the ring already- fight like you mean it." - Skoal Monster 10/8/14

I hear ya Spuds...thanks for the advice on the 2 words. Didn't realize it until you pointed it out. One of life's great truth's - hope is not a strategy. And if it took luck to quit would that mean we'd never drive by a convenience store again?

Let me change those parts of my intro....

will this be different? HELL YEAH

Wishing the rest of you to stay strong and stay quit!

Day 8 here. like so many others...kinda surreal after 30 years day in and day out. quit soooo many times before. this is the first cold turkey quit. very taxing physically and mentally. will this be different? don't know yet. i hope so. one hour at a time still. if i can just make it till 11, then 12, then 1 then the day will be over and it will get easier. my motivation this time is that I can either quit now or wait till I get sick and quit then. I wanna quit while I'm still lucky enough to be healthy. Wishing the rest of you luck!!!
Congratulations on your quit! It is going to be tough but you can do it.
On KTC we don't use the words hope or luck. Post your promise to not use nicotine for one day, quit all day long, post the next morning and repeat.
Read on on the site and get active!
