We don't do status updates here.

You want to quit? Great! We know a way that works.

Get into your quit group and post your promise not to use.

Since you posted this yesterday and haven't posted anything since, I would suggest you get on roll before you do something stupid like put more of that shit in your lip.

Congratulations on your decision... be as active as you can around here- but start first by your daily promise and reading as much as you can about how to quit- others' intros, articles on KTC, articles elsewhere. You can do it if you really give yourself to it!

Congrats on the quit! Great decision! No. The trick is to make that same decision everyday and make a promise to yourself and the group everyday. Accountability. Your first 30days will be rough. Here is the thing. Don't give up. The end results are worth it. This quit has to be for you and only you. The rest benefits from your work. And, yes, it is work. Drink plenty of water. Then drink more water. Get some fruit juices and after those, drink water. This will help the Suck not suck as bad. Get some fellow quitters numbers for additional support. Tons of info on the board for your benefit. Congrats! Congrats! Congrats!

Hey, my name is Tyler and I have been dipping for about 10 years now. I took my last dip this morning. I am quitting for myself and my family. I know I can do it but I also know it's going to be rough. All help will be greatly appreciated. Any advice for the first couple of days/weeks?
Tyler, how sure are you that this morning was your last dip?

My advice is to go to the Quit Groups section of the forum. Scroll down to the July 2016 pre HOF group. That's your group, and signifies the date that you will be 100 days quit.

In the thread will be directions for posting roll. When we post roll we promise to stay quit from all forms of nicotine for the entire day. We post roll first thing on the AM every day. We promise to stay quit for just one day. We stay quit, then make the same promise the next day.

It's that simple. It's not easy, but it is simple. It's been working for me for 73 days, and it's been working for others for hundreds, and even thousands of days.

I quit with you today.
