Virus, there is magic that happens every day here at KTC that will help you regain your life. You only have to accept the help that is offered. Listen to these people, they know who you are and they know about your addiction. Follow them and they will set you free of nicotine.

Post your promise to quit, keep your promise, repeat tomorrow.

Simple, just NOT always easy.

I promise you this, IT GETS BETTER EACH DAY!

I quit with you today

I don't know if the reply will go to the top or bottom of the thread, but wanted to respond about the high usage. Quitting is harder when you have that much daily use but this site is pretty tough. Let the guys on the site call you out and try the chat room. It's faster to quit cold turkey so that's the advantage. When I came to the site yesterday I had already been tapering down for about 2 weeks and never was that heavy a user. But now you're already here so you might want to take advantage of the graduate school track and go cold turkey. One advice, though try to take off work for 3 or 4 days if you can. But keep really busy with something else during that time and stay online with this group of thugs. Those are my wild ideas and hope they help

Forget who, but some badass on here often says, "there is no try. Do or do not". Might have been yoda, he was hooked on beechnut for like 3,009 years. He doesn't post much anymore.

Anyway, you WERE A chin dipping mother fucker.

The law of diminishing returns was slapping you in the face. You were chasing lime a true fiend. Loading up a HUGE lip full in hopes of catching some kind of euphoric buzz.

Didn't happen did it.

That was ADDICTION that made you do that shit. You were/are an addict. Dont like the sound of that? Tough torture...let it burn in. Because you need to admit it.

You weren't just some guy with a bad habbit. You were flat out addicted, or more like dependant.
Enough is enough though. You have seen the errors of your ways, time to take your life back. Time to grow the fuck up and stop jamming a 1/3 of a can of shit into your cakehole. That's some stupid ass shit.

Its not gonna be easy. I will tell you that but it will be worth it. Riding yourself of this addiction is the smartest thing you will ever do.

Read, read, read, and read some more on this. Read EVERYTHING. Then, when youre finished. Read it again.

There's a ton of bad ass quitters on this site who have been kicking the shit out of this addiction for a long time. They are here to help you. Do not be afraid to reach out to them. Hell I'm no bad ass but I've been kicking the bitch in the twat for close to a year now. You need anything, reach out to me. I'm here to help any mother fucker looking to quit this shit 24/7/365.

Welcome to the party pal.

The buzz is the nic Bitch's sugar to attract bees. Once the bees are hooked on the nicotine why give them sugar? They aren't going elsewhere. This is addiction. We are addicts.

Next, I don't care what you were using, it did NOT help you to relax. Actual scientific studies show the opposite. Nicotine increases blood pressure and restricts blood flow. Agin, this is the nic Bitch's flawed logic sweetly whispered only to keep you addicted.

You don't sound convincing in your desire to quit. I can't tell you how many times I threw out a can only to dig it out of the garbage an hour later, or go out in the middle of night to buy a new can because I "quit" when I ran out.

Let's see if you wake up tomorrow, post roll, KEEP your word, and do not go out and buy a few cans. I really hope that I see you posting tomorrow.

My daughter came home from school a couple of weeks ago saying "that sucks" to just about everything. If I was cooking something she didn't want to eat, she said, "that sucks." If soccer practice was cancelled, she said, "that sucks."

Well, I absolutely hated it and knew she would get in trouble in school if she said it (she, the child that never gets in trouble.)

So I said, "You just have to stop saying it. It's not that hard to NOT do something."

HYPOCRITE!!!

What you are about to do IS hard. If she was drinking toilet water or jumping out of second story windows, it wouldn't be that hard to quit, right? It wouldn't be hard to NOT do those things. But that's what you've been doing, drinking E.Coli-ridden toilet water and unsuccessfully trying to kill yourself.

It's hard, but not impossible. Stop killing yourself. Do it NOW. You sound young. Do it NOW.

Ask yourself this: Have you ever been driving and decided NOT to drive into a sturdy oak tree? That's a decent analogy. Decide you're NOT going to do it. When that happens, you succeed.

Hey guys, I've been using oral tobacco for almost 4 years now. I started with Camel Snus and then I started buying the REAL swedish snus from overseas which are much stronger. I tried Nasal snuffs and then I started using Cope Wintergreen. I've tried pretty much every Dip out there (Kayak, Cope, Skoal, Longhorn, Redman, etc). My go to Dip for the last year or so was Grizzly or Kodiak wintergreen. I'm getting so bad now than when I dip I take a third of the can at a time and I do 3 or more cans a day. If I go more than a couple hours without dipping I because a nervous wreck, become hostile and I can't relax. Every morning I tell myself I"m going to stop buying and every morning I'm in the store picking up a couple cans.

This sucks. I don't even really getting anything close to a buzz anymore and yet I keep doing it.

Anyhow, I'm out today so I start tomorrow. Any support or suggestions would be deeply appreciated!
throw the shit out, go to the welcome center (upper left salmon color) , and read as your life depends on it. Some people have died after 5 years of use, some longer.. you really want to find out what your hand is? quitting now will be one of the shining moments in your life.. Don't waste it...
