Wow, I read your first post and noticed that I've met a couple of the folks who replied to you in person. Whatever works for you brother, glad that you are quit - accountability works for me, one day at a time.

@jMcKay - I never officially joined a group or traded phone number with anyone. That still doesn't mean I didn't get TONS of help and insight from this forum and its members, I do credit this site for my success and I have shown it to many others. I don't like to share my personal issues with total strangers, I don't mean to be rude but I am old school when it comes to making friends on the Internet, I don't do it. I make and have friends in real life and maybe then I will communicate, share with them via the Internet. I know some may get mad at me or call me an asshole but, it worked for me and I have stayed quit for over 6 years now, isn't that all that matters, staying quit...

Now, I came on everyday, just like roll-call except I didn't post (I did post 1 time but that was it...), after that 1 post I would just read and reflect. I stayed on this site daily for over a year, then less frequently after that. Not everyone needs to follow the directive to be successful. Hell, I saw tons of people who posted roll-call daily for months then disappear... They were following the directive to the max and they faltered, I knew what I needed to do to be nicotine free.

If there are any other "Lurkers" out there, I know you can make it too, stay strong and shoot me a pm if you need any support from a fellow former Lurker, Best Wishes to All and Free yourselves from the BEAST!

This isn't a real introduction, maybe more like a reintroduction...

I want to thank this website and all of the members, 6 years ago today I wrote this: topic/1007766/1/ - and now, today I look back and realize, without this site, my quit would not have happened or been successful.

If you are new and you don't think you can't quit, you are WRONG! Use this tool/website, login daily and read, then read more and when you think you have read enough, READ MORE STORIES!

Make this website/forum your new addiction, I made Killthecan.org my new vice... I had to login as soon as I woke up, I had to read through all of the others members struggles and insights. I learned so much, about myself, my addiction, and my lack of reality... I never realized that I was so brainwashed and programmed. I never thought of myself as a drug addict or tobacco as a drug but, now I realize it is just as bad as all the illegal stuff, maybe even worse than some.

Hang in there, 1 day at a time... TAKE YOUR LIP BACK - Eff all those legalized drug dealers - Go to HELL Philip Morris  all the rest of those drug pushers.
