Opie, Great desision and listen to what Fran Pro said. He is the main person aside from myself that has help me get this far in my quit. I'm at 43 days quit today after 29 years of a can or better a day. Stay strong and see you around.

You have 100% control of your quit - luck has nothing to do with it!!!
I don't know about you, but no one ever put a dip in my yap except for me.

Luck is for pussies - quitting is for real men (and women)! I can not lie - quitting is damn hard work and the next few days are gunna SUCK!!! So get a proactive attitude, read everything on this site, post a ton and make a plan.

If you really want to quit - do it for you and no one else. Tell everyone you know that you quit and you are damn proud of if. Then quit for today and worry about tomorrow when it gets here.

Do it or don't do it - it's 100% in your control, we can only help you get through it the best we can!

great decision Opie! go sign roll in May...read everything here and don't hesitate to contribute with posts or ask for help. we are all equals in working to stay quit. there is lots of info on this site on what to expect, alternatives to help with the cravings etc. but you have already made the hardest step of all. congratulations!

Well, a couple of hours ago, I was about to get up and head to the store for a tin. After finding this site, I've changed my mind. I'm done with that shit. Good luck to me!
