One last thing: You are going to rage. You are going to be one crabby son-of-a-bitch. Everything will piss you off. Your wife/girlfriend/mother-of-your-child to be never put the shit in your lip. She never told you to chew. And she probably has no clue what you are going through...probably. Don't take your rage out on her - EVER!!! It was not my wife's fault I was a dumbshit and sure as hell isn't your wife's either. Instead, come in here and you will find plenty of folks to vent on.

Wayne, every now and again we make one of those decisions that is monumental in the impact it has on our life. The decision to quit with the help of KTC was one of those for me. Like everyone, I must have tried quitting dozens of times - some in earnest and some half-assed. None stuck until I had the accountability of this site and these peoples.

If you have questions, ask anyone. They WILL help you. But do not go about this lackadaisically or you will be called out - and will likely fail. After you post roll go read this, all of this. In fact, read everything you can on this site. Drink water, get shit that is not chew to shove in your pie hole, keep busy, find places on this site to vent (like your group, get your bitch on, etc). Lastly, look at the Inbox (1) in the upper right of your screen. You will find my number. If you feel like caving call me. If you can convince me that it is a good idea you can chew. (For the record, I have NEVER heard a good excuse on this site.)

Hey all.

I join the ranks of the fine men and women of this site in an effort to rid my life of an expensive poison. I've chewed some gay ass flavors of worm dirt for 6 years, three cans a week. I've 'quit' chewing several times in the past, all with half-hearted attempts. Now, I'm tired of spending the money, tired of wearing out my lip, and I have a son coming into the world soon. I know what comes with the territory of initially quitting, but now I'm going to do it for good - one day at a time.
