Great job. My buddies knew, but I was a closet dipper from my family. This site was a great resource to discuss things with people who understand addict behavior. Great to have you on board.

Stay strong and stay quit, brother.

Hi all, I'm new to the group, but have been dip-free for 7 long dreadful days. After 10-12 years of being mostly a closet dipper, its time to stop and grow-up (I'm 29). Surprisingly the first day or two weren't that bad, but for the last 5 days I've been anxious, depressed, have a soar/stiff jaw, and been discovering new soars in my mouth -- because of this site, I have hope its going to get better. This site is great -- as a closet dipper, I don't have too many people to talk to, so I hope to relieve the loneliness a bit and provide support for others.

Cheers, fellow quitters. I look forward to quitting tomorrow, too.
welcome aboard. all the stuff your experiencing is completely normal, spend some time looking over everything on this site. It is an encyclopedia of knowledge and it helped me a lot.

It does get better....you'll have some good days and some bad days. But as time goes on, the bad days aren't as bad...
a strange game. the only winning move is not to play
