Now at day 67 and I feel great about my quit . I had the pleasure of having to talk to a few guys with crap in their mouths . It was a horrible experience and I am glad to not be a part of that club any more . I still quit every day and it is great to be a part of KTC .
Thanks guys and if your new around these parts , remember to get numbers and stop by in the chat room , lots of great quitting going on around here .

That something to fill the void will be that son you're expecting. I imagine, if your experience is similar to mine, you're actually now doing more and being more involved fully with loved ones compared to your time using. Take up a new hobby if you still have time--read a book, learn an instrument, take a class, volunteer.

Well done so far

Still trudging through another day of quit . After topping a month of quit I want to say thanks to all the guys/gals in this community of quitters . Many times I have looked back on my abuse of nicotine and thought how lucky I am to have gotten out when I did.
Rocketman and Samcat! thanks for the daily support . As for filling the void created after giving up on the nic bitch . Reading the forums in here and trying to hit chat is where I've ended up . Hopefully soon enough I can pick something else up .
Take care all ..Stay strong and stay quit .

Thought I would pop in and say a few words. Great job September quitters stay focused . I've been clean for 13 days now and not going to say it's been easy but this site has made it seem to go more quickly . In the time I've been posting and reading a few quitters have come and gone and many are still resolute in their quit . One day at a time I will get to 100 days and further . Quit today . Quit September .

Thanks for the words of wisdom guys and gals . Day 2 has been a mix of emotions . I feel good to be quit and clean and sometimes I have an urge to jump back in . I will feel a twinge of just one and my mind says 'never again ' . Then my head tries to figure that out .
My addiction can't believe I've turned off the supply of poison .
Great to be here for another day of quit .

brainsore
Don't worry about "never again" yet. Just take it one day at a time, bro. The door will close sooner than you think.

Take it one day at a time man.  For me the hardest thing to overcome in the first week or two was the concept of "forever".  My advice to you over the next couple weeks is take each day one at a time...a daily challenge to yourself to stay off the sh*t.  As time passes it will get easier, but the urge to dip wont be leaving you anytime soon.  It hasn't for me and im at day 65 or so.  Eventually, however, the idea of "forever" becomes much easier to understand, accept, and be happy about.

Welcome man. Saw you in chat. Chat is an aaesome tool to use in your quit.
