Alpha Henry, I got one very important question that you need to answer. Why are you quitting?

Mogul
Like I said, I want to experience my life without dip. Hopefully being free will actually make me feel good, maybe save some money. I guess I'm tired of feeling...dependent on something that I don't need to be.
Posted one time.., day before yesterday.... Didn't post a day 2!
Where did you go ALPHA?

"I want" .... "I Hopefully"...... "Maybe"...... "I guess"........

These are not words of a quitter... but words of a Dreamer!
Find the reason you are quitting.... its not hard! HOW ABOUT IT HAVING SOMETHING TO DO WITH YOUR FIRST CHILD ON THE WAY.

"Hopefully"... that next soar wont turn a damaged cell into a cancer cell... And "Maybe" they wont have to cut my Whole tongue out... and "I guess" I should have posted roll and given my self a chance.

REALLY... Hope you quest are reading this..... This is NOT how to quit!

Man up ... quit listening to the LIE. Get in Here and get this behind you... life is too short for Dreaming or Hoping you will stop tomorrow.

Pissed.... Rawls Out
Rawls, as soon as he answered my question above, I knew it was a helpless cause. this guy is just doing what he thinks feels good at the moment. don't waste your time.

Thanks Brian. Reading through posts and everything, it sounds like this will be the hardest thing I've ever done. I'm already sorta feeling it, I don't feel like I'm myself right now, occasionally something in my mind tells me I need a dip.

Currently just drinking a bunch of water, each time my brain goes into that mode, I start drinking water.
Well done Alpha,
Water and exercise.. Good to get the blood pumping. Hard to sit still at first.
Just remember those thoughts of nicotine are always tied to a LIE.
It does not help handle stress.
It does not help you think better.
It does not make things more fun.

You were not created to need poison. Life is better without it.
I quit with you today.

That something telling you that you need a dip is addiction! You're an addict just like the rest of us and you will continue having that whore whispering in your ear! Post roll EDD! ODAAT! Damn proud of every second of my 68 day quit!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Day 1
« on: March 04, 2015, 05:01:00 PM »
Hello, I'm "AlphaHenry" I'm 26 years old.. been chewing for 12 or 13 years now I guess.

Quitting is something that always crossed my mind, probably since I was about 15. But I never took action, it was always "I can quit tomorrow." Or "This is my last can."
I never made a truly solid effort. A few months ago, I stumbled on this site, read through it and thought "Yea! This is a great idea!." All while sitting there with a dip in, still thinking, "tomorrow."

Finally I came back to it last night, same thing, with a dip in, and kept reading, I scrolled through numerous pages, from the welcome center, to various other topics. I spit the dip out, when I woke up today, my can was flushed, my spitter and empties were tossed out, and I continued about my day.

I want to experience something I haven't ever had in my adult life, a clean mind.

Anyways, a little more about me, I'm married, expecting my first child in September. Don't have too many hobbies, I play around a bit on my computer, or harass my dog.

Other than that, I really can't think of much else to say, thoughts are sorta rolling in but I don't really feel like I'm in my body right now so nothings working right.
