Glad to have you Stew!!! The people here have been a Godsend to me and I couldn't do it without all of the support! Everybody reacts differently and has different symptoms... I am on day 6 today and my hardest day was actually day 5. It was rough while the first 3 days were a piece of cake by comparison. Don't let those other days sneak up on you- they will happen and you just need to expect it will even if its not when its "supposed" to happen. Get some numbers of people and hang in there! We're with you for the ride!!!

Baseball got me too.
Now we're knocking daily homeruns.
You can too.

Make a promise.
Show us your integrity.

I quit with you.

Stew you made a great choice. Baseball got me when I was 15 years old, as the Oder players taught me how to dip...what a crock of shit that is for a time honored tradition. In order to play ball you have to throw a weed in your mouth!

Listen, if you've only quit for 5 days before here is the biggest lesson you need to learn. You are and will be a nicotine addict the rest of your life. Over the course of a quit, if you have the stones to stay with it, you will have times where you feel you've beat this. That's not how it works. Follow the rules of this site. Quit everyday. Post roll as a promise to everyone on this site that you will quit for a day (glad to see you already figured that out), wake and repeat without fail. Most people who fail here start to get lazy about posting roll. Trust me, the more you post, the more people will notice when you do. For 10 days your life will suck, but you can get through this. Good luck.

Welcome Stew. The first few days are really hard to get past. The nicotine leaving the body makes it do some strange things. Then when it's gone, you have to adjust to that. I am on day 9 and I feel great now. Feel free to message me if you need anything. Just be sure to read on here and see how bad that shit really is.
