How do I join?
The short answer is post roll in the May quitters group. Posting roll means you promise to quit for the day. one day. The next step is keep your promise. Wake up repeat.

For more detail, read some of the info that scowick pointed you to. I have to run, but I'll check back soon so let me know if you have questions, or feel free to send me a PM.

Thank you, I might just go put in a sweat shirt and head out on a brisk walk/jog. Im just wondering how long does this phase usually last? It can't be much longer... Right?

Check your PM.

First off, hello everyone. My real name is Steve. This is day 13 of my quit. I dipped Copenhagen over the past 17/18 years. I went through a can a day. Any, I have been to the dr. and dentist and got cleared of anything that could visibly be cancerous which for a while made me feel good. Now the last 2 days (days 12-13) my anxiety levels have just been through the roof. I feel like a 6 year old who is in the principals office waiting for his parents to show up at the school because he got caught sticking his hand up a little girls dress. Is this really normal?  I don't want to keep going back to the dr. but something's gotta give!!!
Hey, Steve, a lot of folks, including me, struggled with anxiety during the initial stages of their quits. Some even ended up at the ER, thinking their panic attack was a heart attack. It's quite normal. But that doesn't mean it's easy to handle.

Keep active. Get lots of exercise. And, if you need a sleep aid, try Tylenol PM or even Nyquil. Others may chime in here, but for me the exercise helped the most.
Agreed with Keddy, exercise is the best medicine.... That being said try a product called "calm" helped me a lot it is a naturopathic thingy. I initially bought it on amazon but I am seeing it in health food and even high end grocery stores. Also another natural remedy is called "rescue remedy" can be helpful as well. If all that doesn't help call your doc and get a scrip for xanax or something like it. I have a scrip for it I only take it when I feel very anxious or when I fly.
All those things helped me but honestly the best was working out as hard as I possible could, a tired body helps to relax the mind.
