Just sitting at work reading all this shit and have to get something out, not getting anything done at work, my mouth is raw from the sunflowerseeds, but I havn't gone back to the chaw, just need to get through this one day at a time. Some good post on here that keep me motivated, appreciate people speaking their mind and not being afraid to say what they feel, it felt good to have my first fucking lunch break without chew, now I just need to find something else to do on lunch so I don't beet myself up thinking about a chew. Good luck to the rest of the quiters out there, never thought I be proud to say I was a quiter!
For the first few days....it's gotta be all about you. Everything else gets moved to the back burner (within reason......)

Nothing is more important than getting thru these first few days.....piss on work.....hell, i'm almost 400 days and i'm still sayin that....lol. (good thing i'm self employed....)

Stay close and power on thru....you got this shit.

Today is my first day quit. I was planning on quitting tomorrow, but got myself so stressed out worrying if I had waited to long already that I couldn't sleep last night, so this morning I said F it and tossed what I had left in the trash.

Today wasn't as bad as I had expected. I barely thought about dipping all day. Until now. This is the time of night when I would dip, play a game of Madden and go to bed. I don't really even have the desire to fire up the Xbox at this point. The two have gone together for so long, I think I'll have to find a new nighttime routine.

Anyway, day one is almost gone. Looking forward to day two.
welcome . . . around here we say FUCK not F.

Congrats on your fucking great deciscion.

You won't fucking regret it.

But Fucking be cautious versus cockey especially for the first few weeks.

I took may last dip on January 27th of 08 and with a one day at a Time approach i posted a big ass 370 today.

Again congrats . . . this site needs some more guys like you . . . guys who don't qualify for AARP benefits.

Again congrats and increase your accountability on this site by posting with me and my brothers in May '08 TAKE THAT FUCKER.
That is what I like, Fuck it throw it away and move on. You will find that in these first couple of days things suck and fuckin sucks. the good part is you get on here and type the hell out of what ever is on your mind and we really dig a good quit story.

I could not read the newspaper in the morning for about two months. there are some things I cannot do but new things that I am doing and really enjoying, like talking to my wife and kids more.

Anyway welcome to the 'spin' funhouse 'spin'
