I have been almost a day now 6:30 pm yesterday i spit out my last dip. I just found this site and I want help to kick this nasty shit. Today has been hellish I can't even concentrate on anything. I have dipped a can or two a day for almost ten years, it is over I am going to be healthy and free of the slavery that nicotine had over me.
Hawk, I'm on hour 6. Its painfull. I'm not sure if your like me but an hour into this I was looking into my trashcan outside thinking about diving in and scraping up some tobacco. It was then I took a hose to the can and wet it all down. Then poured some liquid soap on it. No way thats ending up in my mouth. I think we've all dug into the waste basket to reuse a dip. I know I have. I'm having tons of anxiety today, but this site is really there for you. Just stay close to it and you will rise above. Feel free to PM me with your number or ask for mine. We can get through this together.

Hey guys keep up the quit. Everything that both of you are writing about I have seen and done. I am not an expert, I have 53 days today. Find a reason to quit ie. Live Longer, Be Healthier, Cancer sucks etc.. and use that to help you through. I can tell you the first week was rough. The second week was a bit better but still rough. The farther in the better it gets but it will never go away. This is the fight of your/our lives. I am here if you need me.
You just have to quit for today worry about tomorrow when it comes.
Willy has got it right guys. All you have to do is stay quit for today. Do whatever you have to in order to get that accomplished. Then, we will deal with tomorrow.

One day at at time. And the days do get better. Stick with it. Reach out if you need to. Everyone here wants to help. You got this.
