Where are ya Buc?...not see your word in the July 13 group for today.

Remember that the nic bitch does not take weekends off so we need to be extra careful and get our word out there to our friends and group and get that plan in place to protect yourself.

Don't give in, you can do this
ok this is a little disheartening, as looked at the spreadsheet and almost more red and than green.

its all there, plain as day where if we give our word, honor that word, we stay quit...

and isn't that why were are all here
I noticed that this morning as well. Cant save them all, I guess. We ll we could save them all but they wont reach out so we can pull them off the cliff.
A reminder that quitting takes determination and commitment.

Congrats on 3 days. It is a heck of an accomplishment. I do see that you haven't posted roll in the July 13 quit group though. Get on over to July and post up your promise. If you need any help just pm me.

You are definitely not alone that's for sure. I'm on day 47 and still struggle every day. A large part of my mind just can't wait for an excuse to dip again. I find myself constantly seeking for logical or fact based information that tells me ST is OK. I'm still all fucked up man. But I'm still quit and have faith it will get better if a stick it out. If I made it this far you can too. We need others (family, friends, this site, etc.) to help us otherwise we will go insane.

25 years for me, man... Almost half my damn life! I feel you. Hell, we all do. I'm on day 2 so it's not like I can give you a lot of advice but... I will tell you the one thing that has been profoundly comforting in this journey... I quit with you today. You. Are. Not. Alone!
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

Buc be ready. My first was horrible, but manageable. What has been the worse for me though is triggers like mowing yard or my kids baseball games. Those are times that you should really prepare for. I go through a lot of seeds and I have used smokey mountain chew and hooch (both fake dip) to get me through those times. Keep up the quit.
I quit with you today.

23 years of dipping!! 24 hours of freedom!
Not doing to bad! Only had one episode where I Was less than calm!
Strange how I miss having the can near me. Like a finger has been cutoff and you
Can still feel where it should be!
That is a very good analogy. I have Phantom sensation from a missing finger. I lost my finger in 1981 and for quite some time it was very painful and I missed that simple little digit like hell. I had to guard that stub for several months because it was so tender. As time passed my loss became much less troublesome. Occasionally I'd drop small items when they fell through the hole the missing finger left. Other times I'd bump the end of my stub and the stabbing pain would remind me of my situation. Well it's been over 30 years and I still get that Phantom sensation or other reminders of my missing finger but I've compensated and for the most part never think about it. The only thing that always reminds me is, receiving change in a drive-through. I have to concentrate so coins don't fall to the ground. Like receiving change, stepping up to the counter of a convenience store those cans staring at me required determination and concentration. Today 1 year after quitting the pain is much less its barely a thought most of the time, just a reminder of my addiction.
You don't have to travel this journey alone, climb aboard and post roll. Before you know it you will be feeling less pain.

Beware, sir, because the enemy lurks. Have your plan in place before those tough spots present themselves. That is the key to victory. Read the information on this site. Use all the tools. Get to know some folks. Make some waves.

Make your daily promise by putting your name on the roll call with all of these fine folks.

Then keep your word. Everything else is just details. Glad to see you here.

Reach out via PM if you need anything at all.
Welcome Buc, listen to Radman, he is a mega quitter my friend. Drink lots of water, so much you should be pissing every 30 minutes. Have candy seed gum whatever close. Reach out to your quit group get to know people, get accountable in a hurry. The first few days of my quit I was hours into this site every day.

It's going to get worse, your body is now going to go ummm......wait where is my Nic, and that bitch is going to try and beat your senses.

We got you, post roll, quit for 24 hours then do it again. Welcome I quit with you today
