Keep it going Lynstly - the freedom from nicotine is so worth it.

On a lighter note - your intro title reminded of this classic scene from Uncle Buck! Takes on much more meaning when you're quit.

I found an article that I thought was pretty good for those of us interested in the science behind all of this misery :D
Fuck Yeah!!!! Get me some science. I was about to go look up just this very thing because the Fog is getting annoying for me. Good article thanks.
Great researching and reading. This is the foundation of quit.

That explains a lot! I'm on day 5, the sweats/shakes/chills are gone but I swear it feels like there is a fuzzy zone between my brain and the inside of my scull! Its a really strange sensation, comes and goes. Maybe its just me! LOL

It's one day at a time quitters, keep up the quit!

I tried to quit years ago with the gum and lozenges. Used to smoke, then dip, then nicotine supplements, then back to smoking then back to dip. 30 years of that crap man...
My day 2 is nearly over...
Edit:
What was I thinking? I should be congratulating you 9 days. Got caught up in past memories.
Yeah I hear that... it's amazing how useless the nicotine gum is in terms of actually quitting.... as soon as it's gone your body is right back where it started, craving that damn nicotine ... I wasn't craving dip or cigs until I quit the gum and then started craving it all again .... the good news is that at day 9 it really seems to be diminishing....

Congrats on your day 2 though.... day 2 was definitely the toughest for me!
Nice work here gentlemen.

You guys got this.

Congrats on the 9 days. How's the last 24 hours been?
Hey, thanks for asking

So far day 9 has been better than day 8 which was better than day 7 ... stressful day at work but on the other hand it's been very busy so not much time to sit around and let the mind wander which is definitely helpful.

How are you doing?
