Well, by the current rules of this site you need to answer three questions in both your old quit group and your new quit group.

1) What happened?

2) Why did it happen?

3) What are you going to differently this time?

I think you have already addressed most of these here but it is a formality to get the answers into your quit groups. Sorry about that crap with your wife - there is a brother in my quit group going through some shit like that right now and I will link him to this thread.
Will do Stranger...thanks for the heads up. I can't find the 2015 quit groups. I will explain all of that tomorrow to both groups.
well normly i wood sy you owe your old groop the same kind of ansers. but theres no buddy from aug 09 assept jmag on his seckind go round. so i gess goin to aug 09 is pritty pointless. if your 50 or 51 days now you wood be asplainin things to feb 16. i aspect you to do a good job with it to cuz i like to think of my self as the sgt hulka big toe of the feb groops.
No roll post yet? Why exactly did you come back here bobby?
Sorry guys, I am still quit, just battling constant nausea over the last few weeks due to 3 IV antibiotics that I'm taking each day, Christmas was miserable. I haven't worked and certainly haven't logged into my laptop until now. Is there a way to text in my roll call?
Go into your new quit group (looks like you belong to Feb 2016), introduce yourself, provide and explanation of what happened and then start getting to know them by posting roll call. At that point, maybe, you will earn their trust and they will allow you to text in a roll call or two. But for now, I would stick with logging in and posting yourself. You need to show some commitment to your quit.

Personally, I think you are trying the easy way out. Time will tell.

BTW, texting in a roll call is kinda of a last resort. Again, part of being quit is having the fortitude to put something into your quit everyday not just lazily texting a roll call to a quit brother who will do the work (posting roll) for you.

Hey, Bobby. It sucks that you were quit for so long and caved but thats the past and it can not be changed, so dont dwell on it. Get your new goals straight, lock in on them, stay positive and lets move foward! Easier said then done right, haha? Just be honest with yourself about why you caves the first time so you can watch out for it the second time around.

Well, he's got 50 days stoppage right now but he's using his wife's infidelity as an excuse for his cave.

That's an interesting strategy.

Why did you think cope was an answer to life's problems and we're you talking to anybody from the board at the time?
Well Bobby did you forget about us? I realize that you are in pretty bad shape but so are alot of people. Sack up! We don't use excuses here, get your ass in here , post your answers to the questions and post Roll if you want get this done!

Thanks JP - thankfully but also unfortunately, I was on a ventilator fighting for my life during the 1st 2 weeks of my 2nd quit. Looking forward to staying everyday this time.

Bobby,

Welcome back. Well my friend, time to re-ditch the NIC BITCH yet again; sounds as though you've already taken care of ridding yourself of the living breathing version of her. And good riddance too; hopefully you've gained something from losing her.

Glad to have you back; let's make it stick this time around.

At least you realize you can't do it alone.

Respectfully,

JP - 85 - i quit w/ you today

Really? It took FOUR YEARS to get back here?

bobbyGOLFnc

I know...I know. I expect and welcome the shit storm to arrive because you guys care. Bring it.

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Bobby Riggins and I was an Aug. 2009 HOF member.

I was quit for 2 years and then I caved big time. In 2011 I found out about my wife's countless affairs and because I wanted to catch her in the act, while trying to save my marriage of 11 years...yet not tell anyone, I thought my only friend was ol' Copenhagen. Then, I stayed with it through the divorce as I battled depression. Then I moved from NC to Kansas City. Then I didn't want to quit. I got into that old rhythm, dip at the office, on road trips, watching tv, mowing the grass, on the golf course, etc.

My new quit date was October 26, 2015. I was supposed to have out patient gallbladder surgery...but the gallbladder was inflamed and attached to my liver. In the process of trying to remove it, they clipped my hepatic artery and completely cut my common bile duct - I lost 2 liters of blood and was in ICU for 2 weeks...then another 20 days in the hospital. Thankfully I'm better now but I still have a long road to recovery including another major surgery to fix the cut duct.

I don't miss it...I don't want it. I need your help to stay quit this time around. That was a big reason why I caved, because I got comfortable with my quit and fell off the radar of this site. I could have talked to you guys about my wife's wayward ways...but...anyway. Thank you for listening.

Bobby
