Hey Idaho,
I never made an account last time I visited.

What am I going to do different this time?

DoubleTap,

You have found the place to help you take back your life. First you need to go through collect all of your cans and dump that shit down the toilet. After that get to May 16, topic/11505241/197/#new and post roll call promising that you will not use nicotine for the next 24 hours. Wake up, post roll first thing and repeat, we quit here one day at a time, don't worry about tomorrow just the next 24 hours. Drink lots of water for the first 72 hours as your body flushes the shit out of your system. Get on here and read everything, get to know the quitters in May as they will help you to save your life if you let them. If you are ready to quit for you, you can do this. It will not be easy but everyday will be a bit better than the day before. I'll be looking for your roll post in May 16.
I will definitely head over to May 16, thanks for the link.

I just made a video with my son of me dumping my remaining cans down the drain. I am ready to quit for me and my family.

I need this to happen
« on: February 08, 2016, 03:21:00 PM »
Hey everyone!

I visited this site years ago when I thought I was going to quit. Obviously was just a thought. I'm a 36 (almost 37) year old guy and I've been dipping since I was 22. I started dipping when I joined the Army as an Infantryman, I was a smoker and switched to dipping, it was easier to run and not be out of breath. Been dipping daily for 15 years and I really need to quit. I am constantly worried about cancer and other oral problems. My 4 year old boy tells me to stop that disgusting stuff every time I put a dip in and it breaks my heart. I need to quit, I am going to quit. Not like the 40 other times I have "quit", which amounted to not having a dip for a few hours. My jaw has been aching and tingling for days now, and it's never been like that before, I have a dip in constantly, all day unless im eating or sleeping, and sometimes i'll fall asleep with a dip in (ugh).

I want to make it work this time, before my fears become reality. I think being a part of this community will be a crucial part in this. I just bought a log yesterday and already 2 cans gone from it. So, here goes everything.
