Not really sure why I am returning, but something in my conscience led me back... Although I stopped tracking my days, I am still tobacco free! I missed about a week and for whatever reason, I was afraid to come back. Today I was thinking about how long it has been since I touched a can and figured I would stop by and check... I am official 323 days into my quite and have not looked back. Although I wasn't on the site for long, I can truly say it is the reason I quit. Thank you KTC for saving my life.

Cheers!
Glad to hear you are still quit Kevbot. I bet your June Saloon brothers would like to see your name on roll again. Something led you back here.
What he said.

I might add...give the gift of quit to another. It is a priceless gift and should be shared by those who possess it. Stick around and share.
I 100% agree. It is the least that I could do

We are all busy people Kevbot, but posting roll is a 1 minute investment for 24 hours of quit, the best deal around. If you can't get to a computer to post roll, get yourself a few digits from the dudes here and have one of them to post roll for you. I did it last Saturday when I was computerless, and it made my quit strong that day. Good luck on finals, and I quit with you today.

Really have not been doing a good job with posting lately. I'm in the middle of finals week and I've been slammed with all of the studying. Having said that, this is the time of the year when I would chew the most, and I have done a fine job fighting the temptations. Can't believe I've made it this far. 62 days quit!

^^^^what shitbird said. If this is a stressful time or the time you would normally chew the most, i.e. more triggers, then you need to make sure you post your promise and strengthen your quit. Like you said...the more you put in the more you get out.
Quit on!
Hey Kevbot these guys are right ^^^. I've been in your shoes many years, and I never did quit during finals. Finals broke me if i was having a stoppage, or if finals didn't then the "just one" celebration the nic bitch talked me into after finals did.

I'm in CO- work in Boulder, live near Longmont, if you want to take your quit up a notch and meet up in person, pm me.
This info helped me early on, and still does today: https://whyquit.com/whyquit/linksaaddiction.html

Quitters I’ve met so far: Ihatecope, >Pinched<, T-Cell, grizzlyhasclaws, Canvasback, BaseballPlayer, Cbird65, ERDVM, BradleyGuy, Ted, Zeno, AppleJack, Bronc, Knockout, MookieBlaylock, Rdad, 2mch2lv4, MN_Ben, Natro, Lippizaner, Amquash, ChristopherJ, GDubya, SRohde  -- always eager to meet more!

I've been very busy lately and really haven't had a chance to check in, but things are going great.  I feel I am to the point where this process is getting easier and my cravings are slowly fading.

For everyone who is just getting started, stick it out.  I really stressed about the difficulty of quitting in the beginning, but by taking quitting a day at a time, I took away the intimidation factor and have been doing excellent in my path to a tobacco free life.

Quitting with all of you.
Great to hear you are still quit and feeling good today. Ride that wave brother!

You are really early in your quit. Be cautious with claims that you are at a point where it is getting easier. You will see ups and downs with your quit... That is life. You need to be prepared for the downs and beat back the nic B just like you are today.

Not trying to bring you down... Just trying to keep you grounded. ODAAT. Quit on.
Rock on Kev!
Enjoy the highs, because you will not enjoy the lows.
Proud to quit with you!
