I'm a 25 year old guy from Southern California. Began dipping in high school at 16. Was hooked from the first day. Originally quit 2 weeks ago, but slipped up and bought a can over the weekend. Was just on my way to buy another one right now but knew its not what i really want. Found this site instead. I have no control over it. Throwing a pinch doesn't even satisfy me - just makes me want to throw a bigger one right after it. I don't want to lose my jaw over something so stupid.
My last few months of dipping I maybe enjoyed it 5 percent of the time. I'd throw one in and spit in out within a few minutes because it didn't deliver any pleasure. But man did I covet that next dip! I love my next dip; I lust it--still do 4 weeks into my quit. Screw it man, you can do this those first 2 weeks were the tough part but you, me and the rest of the nicotine addicts can't get soft in the quit ever.

I dipped for 10 years and am now on day 15, it sucks, but you can do it. I recommend going to the dentist soon though, I have never had a cavity before, I went in for a cleaning last week, and the dentist identified 4 that have popped up since last march. One of them is below my gumline so I may need a root canal.

You say you have no control over it? I'm not gonna agree with you there. You can quit, hell you went 2 weeks on your own. You're gonna do better this time around because you're gonna learn to use the site. Read up when you got time! Post roll every morning (a promise to you, me, and everybody in here) that you are going to quit for the day. Then repeat each day.
In 2 weeks from now rather than caving, your going to be equipped with a support group that is ready to be there for you. We all know the feeling. It has only been 13 days ago I was putting dips into my mouth that was aching my gums, bleeding at times, switching sides, trying to make it comfortable, yet thinking about the next dip as I pained over the one already in my face...F that!! That is no way to live I'm quit! and you're going to join the party! Quit today...post roll!

Gentlemen, you are in the right place ....... this is your quit. You must be dedicated to your quit and do it for you. This site, these quitters, are all about freedom. Freedom from the can, freedom from the next fix. Use the support and accountability on this site. Post roll each day with your promise not to use. Trust me, this works. Read, read and read.

You CAN do this. Proud to be quit with you. Now get your quits on!
