Knaffy,

I second Winter Green's comments. WTF dude? You've toughed it out with us April Bastards for 22 days. I understand that people have commitments in their life, but your quit (like mine) is still very young, and you're on thin ice if you try and go it alone. I've been there before, and failed....and you have too. Aren't you committed enough to simply post roll every day, ODAAT?

Like jzzyzag01 said below, it doesn't matter what you do tomorrow, just today. Can't you take it just one 'today' at a time with us? If you do we will be here for you in the future if you need it. I know you're probably feeling really good about your quit, like I am, but you of all people should know the dangers of complacency. To quote yourself, don't be a 'dumb-ass'. You many be rocking your quit now, but when the bitch comes a knockin' someday...and we both know she will.....who are you gonna turn to for support? If you've been posting roll every day with me....you can turn to me. If you drop off the roll and off the radar, you're going to have to seek help elsewhere.

I truly want you to stay quit, however you chose to, but I don't have sympathy for anyone who choses to go down a known path to failure. If you stop posting roll, and come back begging for help a few days/weeks/months from now, I'm not sure I can help you.

Stay with us brother, keep posting roll, and we WILL be here for you. Reach out if you need anything. Help is just a PM away.
Done forever...well congratulations on being a better man than most of us. You must walk with one hell of a gate to have that loaded satchel swinging between your legs!
The posting is what keeps you quit. It makes you accountable each day and reminds you not to fall to the nic bitch. You're making a mistake. Now you need luck. Good luck!
You're playing with fire, Knaffy. Most people that pull this crap end up back here in less than a month with a cave story. If you're serious about your quit, you'll get back in here. I wish you luck, but history says the clock is already ticking down to a cave.

Step 1 in subconsciously planning a cave: reduce your accountability.

The addiction voice in your head just convinced you that you dont need others involved in your quit. ITS A LIE dude. Next step is "you can have just 1 because you aren't addicted anymore, you can handle it" and the next thing you know, you're buying a can.

Get control of your thoughts before the addiction does, and continue posting roll here. Otherwise you're screwed. Trust me, I"ve been there dozens of times.

22 days of quit and this guy has already got it all figured out. Damn dude whats your secret? What makes you think after posting for 22 days that you dont need to post anymore? I hope you stick around and use 1.5 minutes of your day to post your promise to stay quit and to support the new guys. Where the fuck do you think this site would be if all these vets on here said fuck everyone else im quit. Where would the support be? Re evaluate asap

Congrats on making a great choice, Dumb-Ass...uh, I mean, Knaffy. :P

I used to consider myself a "light dipper" because I took small dips and didn't leave them in very long. I also would quit for a weekend now and again just to make sure I wasn't an "addict." So, who is the real dumbass here, huh?

You've gotten great advice so far. One day at a time, brother!!!

Great decision to quit brother. Don't let the past drag you down. As Ty Webb said to Danny Noonan in one of the great movies of all time, "See your future, be your future."

This is the place to quit and to stay quit. If YOU follow this program to the letter, YOU will be SUCCESSFUL. I have no doubt in my mind about that, THIS PROGRAM WORKS!!! Read the Welcome center and get with your quit group April 2014. That's where you'll post roll and make your daily promise to not use nicotine. This is real simple but it takes your commitment. If you commit, you will succeed. Shoot me a PM if you have more questions. Be a strong quitter for the rest of today. Then get up again tomorrow and make your daily promise.

I quit with you today.

Hey Knaffy, good to have you here brother. My biggest issue with your intro: don't believe you will be a success story. You WILL quit today. Not tomorrow, not the day after, but today. Post roll today (see below), keep your promise, go to bed. Wake up tomorrow and repeat. The success stories on here were earned through a good deal of blood, sweat, tears, and cuss words. They didn't magically happen one day. Can you dig it? I bet you can and that's why you're here.

The price of admission at KTC is to post roll daily. Your group is April 2014 because that is the month you will hit 100 days free (Hall of Fame). Check out the Welcome Center for the rationale behind posting roll. Briefly, posting roll is your promise to yourself and the rest of us that you will not use nicotine in any fashion today (dip, cigs, cigars, patches, nic gum, etc.). You will post your promise every day. You will keep your promise every day. That's it. That's all you have to do. It's not easy, but if you can do that task every day, you will beat the nic bitch every damn day (EDD) and one day at a time (ODAAT).

Read everything you can on the site. There is a bounty of information and stories about the daily struggles and victories. It will help you immensely, especially the first few weeks as your body and mind start to rewire from the abuse.

Keep your quit, own your quit. I speak for everyone when I say that I will quit with you every day that you're willing to put yourself before a can of poisonous worm dirt. Welcome and start swapping some numbers with people on the site, especially in your group. April 2014 is a group of bad asses and your quit will be stronger the more accountable you become to them.
"I am a nicotine addict and there is nothing I can do about it; I am also a quitter, and that, I can do plenty about." - Grizzly25

Today I choose to quit because today is the only day I have control over today. Tomorrow is a new day and when tomorrow is today, I'll control it too, but not until then. I will win this fight with today...
