Trauma, minny, and Leonard all speak the truth. Stick around long enough, stay quit and you will find it as well. Oh, and if you need to tell anybody to piss off or you need to call someone names or maybe scream while you lick window panes, call on me. I get it and you won't be judged. These fine quitters of KTC get it too. I'm sure Trauma is still laughing at your addicted "piss off " comment. Don't take things personally here. We are ALL on your team. And it takes ALL of us to beat the bitch.

Get connected with someone and exchange phone numbers. It helps to be able to text someone who knows what you're going through to get past a craving. Everyone here is with you, some may just have trouble expressing it properly.

If you have any questions for an addict shoot me a pm. KTC and the friends I've made here have shown me the light. I AM AN ADDITC. so are you and everyone else who has posted roll today. None of us are users today though. That's a damn fine thing. Welcome to KTC, congrats on one of the best choices you've made- quitting nicotine. It's going to be hard as hell, if you make guys who post here and in your group into friends who are watching out for you (that's going to take work on your part) you'll have an easier time. It's still going to be a bitch but you'll get by with a little help from your friends... ;)

@Leonard-
Thanks, I posted roll for the June group... I think I did it right. 2nd bottle of water starts now...

@traumagnet- nothing says "welcome, we support you" like calling people weak minded crack whores. Piss off.
You misunderstand Traumagnet. When he says you're a crack whore, It's a collective "you're" including himself.

I sure feel like a crack whore. Nicotine was my numero uno priority for 30 years. There's not much beating around the bush here. You need a thick skin, and...read. You'll see what it's all about.

Nothing says support like helping someone face what they're dealing with head on without a bunch of mamby-pamby BS.

No one is calling you names, bud. One of the ways KTC helps people quit is by showing them the truth. Sometimes they are shown that their logic is flawed, and other times we just talk about how nicotine addiction works.

What Trauma is saying is that you're an addict of a very addictive drug, plain and simple and that the addict inside you will tell you any thing, make any deal with you, beg, plead, rationalize, whatever it takes, as long as you have just one chew. His point is that you're in for a dogfight just like a crack whore. Your ADDICT mind IS weak. Recognizing this is important. The same brain that is telling you to quit is also addicted. YOU need to beat the addicted part of your brain and be on the lookout for any bullshit excuse it sends your way.

Day 3 is a MFer. Just get through it. No nic today for ANY reason. We'll worry about tomorrow later.

Welcome aboard. Have you posted roll yet? Do it. Join the June group and make the deal with yourself and your homeboys to not use nicotine for today. Tomorrow will be there, so fuck it, just worry about today.

Day 3 is a bitch. Hold on tight, drink the shit out of water, and ride it out. You WILL feel better tomorrow if you keep that promise to not use today. Hang around the site, read up at the Welcome Center, and jump into chat. There are LOADS of dudes here looking to help, and give great advice. We were all dumbfucks that dipped. Your story will not be unique. I'll quit with you today, bro.

...since my last. So this is morning of day 3. The "fog" sucks, although I'm hopeful today won't be as bad. The twitching/borderline convulsions when I attempt to sleep is an unexpected PITA....

Anyway, used smokeless for 22 years.... Up to 2 cans/day as of last week. 58 hours and 13 minutes since my last. This is day 3.
Welcome,
It appears that you have been reading a few things around here. I suggest you get to the welcome center and never quit reading listen and learn. 3 days in the addiction portion should be coming to an end...not going to lie to you then the mind games begin. Just remember nicotine never did a thing for you accept rob you of life and money. It never made you stronger prettier faster able to concentrate it never did all that. You weak little addict brain just told you it did. There is no difference between you and a crack whore accept for the legality of the substance you are addicted to. You are an addict you will always be one its what you do from here fourth that is important.

Keep close to the site make contacts get accountable.
PM if you need a number
Complacency sucks, one moment of it is the difference between being a user and a quitter....OIB
