Hello, thank you for your reply. I went to the ER today. I passed all of their tests, said their is nothing wrong with my heart, they gave me meds for heartburn/acid reflux. If that doesn't work then I will have to do stress tests etc.

I have no nicotine/tobacco cravings. Really not enjoying the physical side effects of the quit though.
Every day gets a little better, Tx...It sucks for a bit. Lots of water and exercise help curb the physical effects while posting roll removes the self inflicted mind games. Go all in and this will be your last quit. Glad you're here.

I can't say I've had the exactly the same withdrawal symptoms, mine was mainly anger and impatience. I do believe Copingwithoutcopen hit the nail on the head, drink plenty of water and get started exercising. None of these things will make Quitting easy. But they will help take the edge off. As I'm sure you're aware, you're going to feel miserable for a while. There's no shortcut around it. Hang tough! The freedom on the other side is so worth what you're going through now. You can do this!

TxRed... you should read Here's How You Quit, which will give you a quick into into how Kill The Can works.

Short version - get over to the July quit group and post roll for today. Posting roll is pretty simple - there's a video you can watch on Posting Roll on KTC Kill the Can. Posting roll is you promising fellow quitters that you will not use nicotine for the next 24 hours. Post roll, make your promise, and then all you have to do it keep your promise today. Tomorrow, you do the same thing over again.

Getting into a quit group is critical. You're obviously having some pretty strong physical reactions to your quit. I didn't, but with all the quitters and supporters in July, there's bound to be someone who has. When you connect with the members and supporters in your group, you're putting yourself in touch with a lot of experience - and a lot of different experiences - that can help you understand what you're going through.
