It's not easy.. At first
But it will get there.
It sucks.... Until it doesn't.
Drink lots of water...
Can't act like it's no big deal.. It is.
Spend as much time fighting it as you did using it.
For me... I was on this sight reading non stop.
Time heals....Spend your time here on KTC.
I quit with you today.

Just joined...took my last dip of Copenhagen out at 1pm yesterday. Frankly I feel like I'm dying.

I've been dipping since I was 14, nearly 40 yrs ago, when yes, was handed that can on the track bus to see If I was cool...

Anyway, more about that road later. I was dipping up to two cans a day, and more if drinking. Cold turkey is kicking my ass...but patches and gum when I've half assed tried to quit, made it worse almost. I'm not going to dip today!
Awesome decision, Randi. Since you took your last dip yesterday, that means you are on Day 2 today. You are getting closer to having the nicotine out of your body. It takes 72 hours. You can do this.

Head on over to the April 2018 Pre-HOF Quit Group and post roll, There are instructions at the top of each page. Got to the last page, grab the latest roll, quote it, cut it, paste into the posting section, and add your name under the last guy of the New Bad-Ass Quitters section.

Need anything, hit me up with a PM. I'll be glad to help.
Hey Randi. Congratulations on finding this place. You my friend have found quit heaven. I dipped 38 years and with all my support here on ktc I have managed to be nic free over 3 years. Has it been easy? Absolutely not but posting my promise one day at a time (ODAAT) has gotten me here and I look forward to posting again first thing in the morning. Get both feet planted, believe in this place because it definitely works, get numbers and give yours out, read and stay as close to the site as possible for awhile. Remember itÂ’s ODAAT here we worry about making it through today and let tomorrow take care of itself. Get posted up. I quit with you today
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD
