Welcome aboard David. Glad to welcome another Texan to the World of Quit. The first thing you need to do is post roll. Look up at the top left hand portion of this screen and you will see the salmon colored Welcome Center. Open it up and follow the instructions on how to post roll. Posting roll is the price of admission around here...nothing more and nothing less. It is your promise, hence your word, that you will not use nicotine that day. We post every day, rain or shine. We dont skip a few days. If we are not near a pc or cant figure out the complicated scenario on how to post with smart phone, then we either call or text a quit buddy and have that person post up for us that day(s). Simple. So, read all you can and lets get that name on Roll. You will be in the December 2013 quit group. That will be the month you will celebrate being 100 days without nicotine. We call it your Hall of Fame date. Finally, look up at the top right hand portion of this screen and you will see Inbox(1). Open it up. That is a message from me with my telephone number. I will be available to help you out 24/7. Call the number as you need to. Welcome aboard again. Wayne

Welcome David, this site will definitely do that. I see you've already got advice on posting roll, PM guys for their phone numbers  text them when things are rough. You'll find an incredible support group on this site,  with that you can get this done.

Welcome to KTC. If you want to quit, this is the place. Stopping is not the option here. Look beside other posters names. The number is how long they've been quit. Us newbies look up To the veterans that have gone before us. They have many days and years behind them. Read all the info you canon this site. The education you receive here will make you want to stay quit. Knowing what a terrible chemical we have been poisoning ourselves with is an eye opener. Here we quit together.

_ I started using snuff when I was 15. I am in my 50s now.
I have quite 2 times before. Each time for about a year.
Why did I start back? I like the buzz, it is a way to deal with stress, friends dip, and I eat less.
I quite again Sept. 17th.
I do not like my life being controlled by this addition. As others have stated, I find myself looking forward to being away from my wife so I can have a dip. ThatÂ’s so wrong.
This time I want to quit for good. I thing this site will help me accomplish that.
If you have been nicotine free since September 17th, you will be in our quit group--December 2013. Welcome! If you need help posting roll, let any of us know.
