Hey man glad to see you've made the decision to quit! You will find the tools you need to succeed right here. Accountability and brotherhood, wisdom and experiences can all be found right here by folks who have kicked their lethal addiction. Take advantage of everything this site has to offer - I was amazed how informative, inspiring, and entertaining it was.

Feel free to tell us a little about your reasons for quitting here in your Intro section or in your group Pre-HOF October 2016. Many of the folks on here will be able to relate to your experiences and offer support and advice as we move forward in this together.

There's hundreds of brothers (and sisters) out here who want to see you succeed and will do anything to keep you from digging back into that can. Get on over to your group - October 2016 - and post your promise for today. Then keep it!

Welcome Eric! Glad to see you here bud. As was stated, 3 of the worst days are in the rear view mirror. After that it is all mental. That is where we come in handy.

There is a lot of useful info here on site. May I recommend the hall of Fame Speeches and Words of Wisdom? They make great reading materials. Read the intros as well. You will find many others here with the same story as you or real close to it. You are never alone here that is for sure.

Take care man and look forward to seeing you on roll!

Ray

P.S. if you have any cans laying in the trash empty or full, please dump them out in the toilet and flush and then RINSE the empty tins. Many a times, we as quitters will go dumpster/trash diving to grab a fix we know for certain is close.
If I could I would. If I don't, it's because I am lazy.

Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the Ark. Professionals built the Titanic.

That's awesome Eric. You've got 3 of the worst day's behind you. Like Stranger said, get over to the October group and post roll. Post your promise 1st thing in the morning. The October group is a group of quitters who are at approximately the same number of days quit as you. You'll be able to lean on each other for the rest of your quit. Quitting isn't easy, but you can do it and it's worth it.

Glad to have you with us here at KTC.
I quit with you today
Just one and you will be back where you started.
And where you started was desperately wishing
you were where you are right now.

Hi I'm Eric I have been dipping Copenhagen or grizzly on and off for the past 17 years. I have tried to quit before by using the herbal snuff to no avail. I have decided that this time I am going to be successful. I am trying Grinds snuff which is coffee to get me through the rough days. I am currently going on day 3 with no snuff. The hardest part was not going to the store and buying a can. But I went the entire day without buying a can. My office partner is the only one that besides me that knows that I am quitting. I am going to surprise my family by this.
Welcome Eric! The best way to be successful is to follow the program here. Post your day 2 on roll in October here. You are making a promise to keep nicotine out of your body for the day.
