Welcome James. Keep posting roll like you have the last couple days. The struggle gets easier, I can promise you that. Get to know some of your July brethren and it will give you a much better chance to succeed here. The tenet is Accountability + Brotherhood = Success. If you don't have the brotherhood piece, the success won't come.

Also, here is the Money  Investing forum on here. Have fun!
Welcome James! What King said is so true, for me, what makes this site work is the friendships I've built here. I still have days when I'd like to say "to hell with it!" and go buy a can. But then I think of how I'd be letting my friends down here and how I've given them my word that I'm Quit for today buying a can is not an option anymore.

Let me give you a word of warning. I started dipping when I was 14. Like you I attempted to stop and did for several months when I was 21. A few months later I decided I really wasn't ready to quit yet and I still had years of my life left to do it. Milestones came and went and I kept putting it off and I kept getting more addicted. Here I am at 50 and I'm just now finally putting it behind me. Don't let that happen to you. Put this stuff behind you now and never look back.

You've stumbled into a gold mine here. Support will dramatically increase your odds of Quitting and staying Quit if you go all in 100%.

Get to know people here, post roll every day and 1st thing in the morning.

Proud to Quit with you today James!
Just one and you will be back where you started.
And where you started was desperately wishing
you were where you are right now.

About me
« on: March 29, 2017, 03:57:00 PM »
So my name is Seth JAMES barker I use my middle name a lot but feel free to call me as you please. I'm 21 years old I've been chewing pretty much every kind of chew. It started when I was about 12 or so had a few older buddies who had older brothers and peer pressure and curiosity got the best of me. At first I wasn't to big on it but as the years went on and on I realized I was addicted and was no longer doing it when people were around but when I was alone as well. I decided to quit for me and my parents my dad smoked for about 25 years and quit and now here I am to. I am on week 1 day 4 of my quit so just four days. It's tough but I'll get through. I work as an electrician I do mostly 3 phase motors and Plc. I like fishing and hiking and trying new food. I also am a big Dave ramsey fan so if you have a question about personal finance let me know: I'm glad to be here and look forward to meeting new friends. Thanks guys much respect
