Hey daaawg,
Congrats on learning how to post roll, that's a great accomplishment for many on this sight.
I too am 50, been dipping 38 years and started on baseball diamond. Long time ago...
Sounds like your ready.. Me too, just not any fun anymore, and really never was anyway. Especially with all the risk and burden that goes with it.
My advice is get too personally know some folks... And change some numbers with guys.. We only text each other but it's more fun and helpful doing this with others and helping them stay loyal to their word.
Need any help, pm me.. I'll quit with you any, and or every day. ODAAT.

Rawls is spot on here. My quit group uses a chat application, but we also text and use the KTC Chat. The more you get involved here early, the stronger your quit in the first couple months (the toughest ones, in my opinion).

You've got my phone number in your inbox if you want / need it. I quit with you today  Every Damn Day.
Go DAWGS! Get that quit on  GATA!!!

Post roll  keep your word for that day!

Dawg, awesome job on making it to three days. The chemicals are out of your body, it's all mental from here on out, even if sometimes it doesn't feel like it.

Here at KTC we quit 24 hours at a time by posting roll, a daily promise that we will not use nicotine in any form for the next 24 hours. You'll be in the May group, which means you'll hit the Hall of Fame (HOF, our term for 100 days of quit) in May. Here's the link to the group: topic/10927055/1/

Nobody gets how to post roll the first time. Read how here: topic/1003072/1/#new

Looking forward to seeing your name there.

Going on my 5th day, headaches are less, pain in jaw and neck starting to subside. Hell, the last 2 days thought I was either having a stroke or something with the pain in my head. Came on here last night, talked to a couple guys about the pains and they reassured me it was just the quitting. Feelin little better today. I have been really good about my cravings in my usual dip times during the day and it almost seems too easy so I am afraid i am heading for a nasty bout sometime soon. Gonna need you guys when that happens...OK just a little about me. Started chewing when I was 13 ( 53 now ), dipping at 16..it was the cool thing to do playing baseball. Tried numerous times over the years to quit only to fall back. Last "almost quit" was 3 years ago and actually made it 50 days. As of late, dippin just wasnt good anymore, almost like it was just something to do to pass time. started to not even like the taste...So, after listening to years of my wife saying "STOP" at me hacking up oysters constantly, I have taken the big step and threw it away. Only 5 days and she can even tell I am not hacking as much.. Just wanted to come on and say HI..
Hang in there Dawg! Day 5 was the worst for me, and I know you can make it through. It'll keep getting better, I promise. Stay connected and do not give in. Build the hate towards the nic for what she's done to you. Hate her with everything you've got.
Battle today Dawgg!!! Your body is changing for the better. ou can do it today!
So happy to see you back dawwwgs. Read up in the welcome center and get your name on roll in April. Drink a ton of water it helped me a ton at the beginning. CONGRATS on the best decision of your life.
