Like chewie says, welcome. You have come to the right place. I didn't dip 24-7 but I did that shit for over 30 years. Stay close and be active in the June quit group. Quitting is hard but WORTH it.

Been 5 days, each day has a challenge for me to face. I was a loyal Skoal man for 23yrs. I was chewing 24-7 for the last 5 yrs or so. Yes, thatÂ’s 24hrs
a day, I would dip while sleeping. It all started back in high school when I needed to hide
the dip from the teachers, I would put it in my upper lip. I chewed that way for 20+years. One day I went to the doc for some lower back pain and I wanted to
get a couple moles shaved off. Well long story short, one of those moles was melanoma. Good thing for me it was in the early stages and they got it all quick.
The doctors told me to quit NOW. That was 3 weeks ago. It took me two weeks
after to finally throw that last can away. I went cold turkey and I've been chewing
straws and eating at least a bag a day of sunflower seeds. It's tough but I'm clawing my way through it and taking it day by day.

I don't want one of these on my face so I quit!!!

Bravo my friend... welcome to the rest of your life!

I won't tell you it will be easy, but it CAN be done.

Head over to June 2009 and pull up a chair!
