Hey everybody, sorry I haven't been replying. I've been preparing and putting away fishing equipment and a boat for the season. I appreciate all of the support and I'm almost done with the first 24 hours! I'm actually surprised with how today has went. The cravings weren't as bad as I figured they would be while I was working on my fishing gear even though I normally would have a nice bullet in doing so. I was pleasantly surprised.
Snare,
Good job posting roll. Staying busy is good. But carve out some time to read on this site and start trading digits with your fellow April '16 quit mates. Mutual support is what makes this site work! I quit with you today.

Congrats on your quit! Stick with it and kick some ass. Sometimes you'll feel like 'bang head' but bunker down, use your resources here, and keep on with the quit.
The Quit has been one of the best improvements to my life!

I you think school is awful without nicotine, try going through life without a jaw. Make this the only quit you will do, and you won't have to worry about the latter............

Hey everybody, my names Nick. I've been dipping for about 6 years. This is the start of me quitting. I'm a full time college student that used a can a day for years. I've planned on quitting for a couple of years now but, that obviously didn't happen until today. I'm on break now and I imagine going back to school is going to be awful with out nicotine. I look forward to having you help and being able to help others along the way!
You've learned a good lesson - planning to quit is pointless because nicotine loves to break even the best of plans. :P

Glad to have you have you here Nick. Read the Welcome thread here...

And post roll with the April 16 group here...

topic/11465559/18/#new

Don't worry about quitting through college or anything like that. Post your promise in the April group and then worry about quitting for the next 24 hours. We quit one day at a time (ODAAT) every damn day (EDD) here. Post roll, quit, and repeat the next day. You can do this if you want to do this NEsnare! :)
Awesome job sir!

You are winning! This is really pretty simple. We are like a big football team. We rely on each other. We give our word daily and we keep it - no nicotine of any form! It isn't easy, but nothing worth doing is. Jump in, make contacts in your group, and win.

Einstein didn't chew btw. It doesn't help you with school or anything else. You are really going to like where you are headed.

Build that team. It works.
