That is an excellent start Kfine, New Years is when I quit also, that means you're at 50 days quit.

Like Keddy said, this is a no nicotine site and the premise behind this site helping you stay quit is to post roll and promise your brothers you will remain quit and to build accountability with your quit brothers.

Welcome, and I hope to see you stick around.

I quit on New Years. Ya I know its pretty cliche but whatever I haven't bought a can since. I quit with my friend but he just quit quittin on me. I kinda chanced on this site, never seen anything like this before, figured I'd give it a try. This is the longest I've ever quit and honestly don't wanna start up again. Been dipping for seven years. Quit before for a month but I couldn't stand the person I was turning into, just a complete ass all of the time. Only worse cuz I was in withdrawal and drinking more, making me into a mega douche. Decided on this quit I would cut back on the sauce to, and its definitely made things easier. But I have to admit there also much more boring, you can only workout so much. Well ya thats my quit so far in a nutshell. Just trying to be healthy and keep my sanity. javascript:emoticon("'bang%20head'")
Congratulations on you quit!

We quit cold turkey here, meaning no nic patches, gum or tobacco products.

A big part of our program and success is posting roll call every day. Head on over to the WELCOME CENTER (link in red at the upper left of your screen) and read all about posting roll. Then go to the April 2012 group and give it a try.

Also read everything you can under this link: KillTheCan.org. Information is power when it comes to quitting.

The initial days of quitting sucks, but your life is worth the fight!! If you need anything else, just shout.
