Thanks pky1520 - I'm glad you reached out. I'm not proud that I didn't grab the bitch by the balls and do things the right way the first time, but here I am. I want to do it the right way this time and I know that I need support and to be held accountable to do that.

Thanks again - looking forward to another day quit.
I guess I still didn't hear if you had an account here previously. If you did, please PM one of the Admins or Mods (I am one) and we can get you back to using that one.

10 days on your own is badass. Congrats on double digits and let's keep that going.

Hey! I've decided to do it right this time - I know now, it's the only way.

Over 2 years ago, I lurked on this site, read a ton of useful information and decided to quit - thought I could do it on my own. I made a good run at it for about 8 months, but then I caved. I am now 37 years old, a father of 2 boys, and a husband. I ninja dipped and lied to them for over 10 years. This year on Christmas Eve, I went to bed without access to any form of nicotine - and I've managed to avoid it for the last 5 days. This time I want to do it right, I want to quit - not just stop, but QUIT. I just posted roll for the first time (I hope I got it right) and plan to continue every damn day.

Hey jdogg, congrats on the Quit and welcome! You mention that you were here before lurking and that you stopped for several months. Did you have a profile and join a group, or just lurk as a guest? If you had a previous profile and joined a quit group, you will need to use that. If you created a profile, but never posted anything, then you should be able to keep this one, but we will need to deactivate the old one.

Either way, glad you're ready to quit for real now! Find your quit group and post roll. Keep that promise and do it again tomorrow.

Let me know if I can help!

UPDATE: It looks like you had a profile but never posted anything and were never in a Quit group. As far as KTC is concerned, you're NOT a caver. This is your first  only quit. Welcome and I'm wishing you success!
