hey thanks for the support and welcoming me into the brotherhood of quitters. im glad to be here and i did my first roll call. i will definately be contacting you guys if im struggling or need anything. thanks guys!
Read Read READ....

A little advice for ya - don't wait until you are "struggling" to reach out. Especially early on in your quit. Right now you are going to be going through a rough adjustment period and what might not seem like a struggle actually will be. If you wait too long you might not get the chance to ask for the help you need.

Get to know your quit bros and sisters early and make it a habit of communicating with them frequently. The more active you are on the site, the greater your successes with your quit.

Garrr-un-teeeed.

Welcome Marcus. You have made a great decision. Now make it a reality. There are a bazillion of different reasons to quit and only one reason to continue dipping. The one reason to continue dipping is that you perceive the nic bitch's grip on your balls to be too tight to say no. If that were the case, you wouldn't be here. Use those bazillion reasons to stay quit. Use the tools offered here. Drink the koolaide.

I (we all do) know EXACTLY what you are feeling now. Do your raging HERE. We understand. We GET it. We EXPECT you to want to rage like a mofo. You're family and friends may not. Hit me up for digits if you feel like texting/yelling obscenities. My Brothers of May know had to listen/read my rants, so I'll return the favor and here yours.
*Quit today. Full stop. No qualifiers. Tomorrow?... IDK, IDC.

Welcome to the party ! This site has everything you are looking for and then some. Every person here has lived what you are going through and all are more than willing to drop what they are doing to help you through a tough spot. These quitters can save your life, if you let them.

Make sure you go to the welcome center, read and understand how we do what we do. Before you post roll understand what that promise means, it is not to be taken lightly. When you REALLY understand and embrace roll call; that one little act practiced daily will give you the freedom you seek.

Read everything on the site, knowledge is power and understanding your enemy is vital. Go to a group before you and read from the first post to the most current and you will begin to see what quitting looks like.

Glad you are here!

STAY QUIT
Greg

hey everyone im marcus and im 22 years old and im currently on my second day of being quit. I was a dipper for about 9 years and i got sick of the shit running my life and sick of the cancer and other health related worries. My career is also in healthcare so i think it would be hypocritical of me to offer health advise to other people and im putting a pinch in my lip every chance i get. Right now i hate the world and everyone in it. I guess im going thru some nicotine rage. everytime someone looks at me, talks to me, makes any noise or breaths i feel like punching them in the fucking face. I had to send my girlfriend home to prevent constant fighting. she was getting pissed at me for being pissed and i was about to rip her head off. anyways im glad this forum is here for me to vent and get support from guys that know what im going thru and are going thru it with me. Im quitting cold turkey and never going back.
Welcome sir. Check out that Welcome Center link in the upper left. Study #4. Study it hard. Then check out #3. Head over to Quit Groups...find March 13...and ececute #3.

Roll Call, everyday. No exceptions. First thing in the morning.

Shout if you need anything.
