Hi everyone! I've been Snus-ing for a couple of yearsÂ… maybe 3 on and off. I was also extremely addicted to "Thrive" nicotine gum for a stretch as well. I wake up and pop a snus in mouth! There's basically not a moment in the day when I don't have one! It has made me question my focus and ability which makes me angry! So enough is enough! I'm over it, and moving on! With your support I know I can climb this mountain and I look forward helping you climb it as well!

Reasons for quitting:

- Can't justify the cost when in debt ($52 a week)
- Hate the idea that I'm being controlled
- It's messing with all my bodily functions
- Haven't slept well in months, maybe years
- Turing 30 this year and want to be a "Man", which is to be a man of my word, a man who's actions are congruent with his values, a man who honours and respects his body and health
- and ultimately to feel like I can conquer my inner demons and be victorious

I know that quitting snus will be the best decision I make! I know it will give me tremendous strength and emotional clarity, it will be a deliberate act of self love and a powerful spring board from which other more inspiring, healthy habits can emerge.

With snus I am weak! Without I am unstoppable!

Thank you for reading and I'm so excited to embark on this journey with all of you!
You have the right mindset! Do it for you!!! Congratulations and welcome!
Congrats on your decision Roland! Make sure you that you pop in to the newest quit group - September 17 (topic/30249720/29/#new) and make that promise there as well. Everyone in that group will be within a few days of your quit date and you'll be going through the same kinds of things.

That's where you'll find a ton of support, as well as the accountability that makes this system so successful. Posting Roll, making that promise in your group, every single day is the foundation of this site and a requirement for accessing the tools here.

You'll go through some tough times over the next few days, weeks, months  beyond, but I guarantee you that it will not kill you, it will get much easier with time and the freedom that you'll earn will be better than any feeling you ever got from nicotine.

Reach out if I can help!

I want to get clear on my commitment!

Today, June 1, 2017, is the day I promise to myself and the world to quit SNUS!

I will recommit to this promise everyday!
