Galen, learn to hate the product that is killing you. It isn't easy, but start posting roll and jump in with both feet. If a gluttonous slob such as myself can quit, so can you!
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

Started dipping in the Navy. Stopping today. Only been 4 years, but I see the damage that it's done to my teeth. I really don't wanna quit because I love it so much. But every part of me is healthy besides dip. It's time to top it off and kill the can. I dumped my half can of Copenhagen Wintergreen in the trash this morning at eleven while at work. I hope I can get some words of wisdom here to put this addiction to rest once and for all.

This is one of the best things about this site. One dude hits 1,000. Another begins his journey.

Galen you can do this. I promise. But I gotta tell you... You don't love this addiction. You love using it because you hate the withdrawals. You don't love spending money and tempting cancer because you hate the jittery hell that not having this poison in your blood causes. That's all that it does at this point... Take away the misery of not using it. You don't get that head rush. You don't get that... Wow... That you had the first few times you used it. You don't get a thing.

Stick with this place. Post roll. Fight like hell. You will be richly rewarded with a freedom that you cannot imagine. I challenge you to read any intro here over 100 days and fact check me. Everyone of them will talk about how great things are.

Welcome!
Nice job posting up! We don't renege on that promise, zorz. It's good for a day then we make it again tomorrow. I like to think of it as a collective FU to big tobacco and the big C. It' quite an honor to be a small part of it while honoring those who can't.
In my mind, 4 yrs or 40 years of addiction is no different. Freedom is won daily.
Welcome aboard!
