Hello Everyone,

I just finished throwing out my spitters and a half chewed tin of Grizz. I'm ready to kick this thing for my friends and family. At only 18 years of age I've seen people walk by and felt like they were happy not even knowing they will never have to deal with the problems associated with smokeless tobacco that I do. It's time to start living without it. I'd like to join a group of some people serious about quitting. Good luck to us.

Welcome, the pro's here will give you plenty of advice, but the commitment has to be yours. Like they say - one hell of an ongoing and continous ride, just don't get off.

Read everything you can on this site, hang out and see what others are going through. I am on day 24 today, and due to the postings of others I was ready for some suprises and potential land mines. This place will keep you prepared.

Stay quit.
right off the bat...you cannot do this for your friends and family. What happens the first time mommy pisses you off (and she will) you will run to the can for a revenge dip. You have to quit because you want to and only for you. At 18 that is a tough thing to do. Very few kids at your age have the balls to quit. Do you?
Forget the friends and family and realize your life is worth it.
Welcome letlive!

You've already gotten sound advice, make sure you take it.

It's nice to see some young bucks here quitting. You will find that most of us here wish we had the balls to Quit at 18.

You're doing the right thing and we will help you, as long as you take it seriously and follow the steps.

Yup, scooners right. Be prepared, just like a boy scout. Make some friends in Feb, exchange some #'s and make a plan. Post religiously, every day, even the weekend. If you can't, text to a buddy and they'll post for you.

A lot of guys in here have dipped longer than you've been alive, myself one of them. You've made a stellar decision. You've got a lot of life left and it will be more enjoyable without nicotene.

Stay informed, stay prepared, stay quit.
