I really don't get into football. I am more of a hockey girl myself. Either way, I do wish I had quit when I was 24. So much wasted time. So much wasted money. So many lies. But most of all, so many chances taken with my life.

Be quit. It's the best thing you will ever know......I promise.

Hey Zach, welcome to the nut house.

One word of caution, remove your phone number from your signature line. Share it with others using the PM system.

Zach, I say this a lot to guys in their early to mid twenties....your success rate at quitting is far lower than older addicts. Lots of reasons for it....more nights spent drinks no (much easier to cave when you've had a few), often times more buddies that dip, but I think more often than not it comes from their own ignorant perception that quitting isn't that hard, and therefore they can cave...just once...then pick up quitting again the next day. Whatever the reason, I'd like you to be the exception rather than the rule Zach. If you quit one day at a time, but realize you are an addict every day for the rest of your life...you've got a shot. Sorry to hear you're a Vikes fan... go Pack.
I know exactly what you mean, people in their mid twenties can be cocky I won't lie one bit there. But I've made a few steps to get to where I am now, it took me a while to realize I have a problem, a guy I know who has dipped most of his life just found out he had cancer and that was a turning point for me to know that I am an addict. I feel like I have a shot at this and without this site I think it could be harder but I feel excited about being involved in this site. Also tonight I found a damn near a full can of chew and I flushed it away with confidence. Thanks for the message! And I apologize deeply for being a packers fan lol

Hey everyone,

First and Formost my name is Zach, I'm 24 years old and I've been dipping for around 8 years now. I've always wanted to quit but was just never thought it was something i needed to do. In the past year I just recently gotten married, and the best part of all we have a little boy that will be here in May. With the little guy being here in May I want to quit dipping for good, for myself and my family, and I couldn't think of a better reason to quit. A little more about me, I work in the farming industry been in it my whole life and I love it. I'm a die hard Minnesota Vikings fan along with just an all around sports fan. I love hunting and fishing and damn near anything outside. I look forward to this journey with everyone, and honestly I'm not looking forward to the struggle but at the end of the day I'm excited to be dip free. Thanks
Congrats on the quit, you, like me, will see that you can do everything outdoors without a dip, I never knew it was possible. You will have some triggers that want to make you put a big ol fat dip in, it happens and when it does chat with someone from your group or whoever on this site to help. I have been wanting one bad here the past couple days while fishing, but not giving in to the Nic Bitch.
You can do this brother.
I quit with you today.
Thank you! I know exactly what you mean by the trigger thing all day today, and I beat them all today. I know tomorrow is gonna be a whole other different beast but I'm excited to keep it going. Thanks for the post and keep up the awesome job don't let the nic bitch get to you either! Let get it done!

Welcome Zachary to the best decision for saving your life! Head over to June 2016 Pre-HOF to post roll. At KTC, posting roll is your daily promise to keep nicotine out of your lip and body (all forms of nicotine) for 24 hours. This is sacred. Do this early and everyday. Wake Up, Piss, Post (WUPP).

Make sure you are quitting for you - it is good you are quitting for you wife and future boy but make it about YOU. Get rid of all cans everywhere and dump them out. Don't have any on reserve...get rid of it all. Side note - huge Vikes fan myself...no need for Wallace anymore! :)

Welcome to the freedom from being a slave to nicotine and a much better life ahead saving your life from certain death from this poison.
Thank you very much, get over that page and see if I can figure out how to post roll, And believe me I'm defiantly doing this for myself, I'm just gonna have a good cheering section. I have no idea what to expect in the upcoming days, I emptied all remaining cans and so I have nothing. But about the Vikings I'm sure glad I'm not the only fan around here, and I was hoping Wallace would be something better but now I'm sure glad he's gone, he doesn't deserve to go all out he places the Vikings are gonna be going!
