Zach, I say this a lot to guys in their early to mid twenties....your success rate at quitting is far lower than older addicts. Lots of reasons for it....more nights spent drinks no (much easier to cave when you've had a few), often times more buddies that dip, but I think more often than not it comes from their own ignorant perception that quitting isn't that hard, and therefore they can cave...just once...then pick up quitting again the next day. Whatever the reason, I'd like you to be the exception rather than the rule Zach. If you quit one day at a time, but realize you are an addict every day for the rest of your life...you've got a shot. Sorry to hear you're a Vikes fan... go Pack.

I know exactly what you mean, people in their mid twenties can be cocky I won't lie one bit there. But I've made a few steps to get to where I am now, it took me a while to realize I have a problem, a guy I know who has dipped most of his life just found out he had cancer and that was a turning point for me to know that I am an addict. I feel like I have a shot at this and without this site I think it could be harder but I feel excited about being involved in this site. Also tonight I found a damn near a full can of chew and I flushed it away with confidence. Thanks for the message! And I apologize deeply for being a packers fan lol

In the past year I just recently gotten married, and the best part of all we have a little boy that will be here in May. With the little guy being here in May I want to quit dipping for good, for myself and my family, and I couldn't think of a better reason to quit. A little more about me, I work in the farming industry been in it my whole life and I love it. I'm a die hard Minnesota Vikings fan along with just an all around sports fan. I love hunting and fishing and damn near anything outside. Congrats on the quit, you, like me, will see that you can do everything outdoors without a dip, I never knew it was possible. You will have some triggers that want to make you put a big ol fat dip in, it happens and when it does chat with someone from your group or whoever on this site to help. I have been wanting one bad here the past couple days while fishing, but not giving in to the Nic Bitch.
