Hey everyone,

I'm James Wicker.  I'm currently married with two small girls.  I need to quit dipping, but my job puts me in line with lots of chew and dip.  I've tried nic gum, gum, and several other ways but I can't quit.  I hope that this forum will help me get over this habit.  Not just for myself but to improve my relationship with my children.  Tomorrow 10 March 2012, starts day 1.

Respectfully,

James
Hello James.

We don't try to quit here. We quit. Period.

First off, you need to drop the self defeatist attitude.

I hope this forum will help me get over this habit.

This forum will help you quit. However, it is up to you and you alone to quit. You are an addict just like I am.

Type that out once.

It's sobering. It explains a lot. It puts your stuggles in perspective.

Here at the KTC, we have a simple but not easy strategy to quitting:

Post roll.
Stay quit.
Repeat.

We quit one day at a time, and not a moment longer. There's a whole playground here at your disposal to utilize. We have fun here, and we will kick your ass when you need it. We've been through the same stuff you are about to go through, and we are more than happy to stand beside you during it.

Follow this link to our welcome center and learn what we do and POST ROLL.

If you need help, just ask man.
Listen to waste, I was gonna write something but he covered it all.

Good call on coming getting serious about quitting. I have tried all the stuff you have tried, and it failed me too. The method here works like a champ.

You promise not to dip today.
You KEEP YOUR WORD!
Repeat.

We are damned serious about quitting. Once you understand what it means to post roll, head overto the june group and post. Do this right now.

Oh, and here at KTC, we do not "try"to quit. We quit.

I'll quit with you today.
*Quit today. Full stop. No qualifiers. Tomorrow?... IDK, IDC.
