Awesome choice. I found this site at about 3:30 AM after 9 days...I think I was crawling the walls pretty good...lol. Anyway, now that you've taken the first step, let us help you with the rest. Don't think about tomorrow, next week or next year. We'll deal with them when they get here. All you need to focus on is TODAY...right now. You just commit that there is no fucking way anyone or anything is going to make you put that shit in your mouth today, and keep your word.
Quitting is done one second, one hour, one day at a time. That's all there is to it.
Read all you can on this site. Get numbers and have a plan...what are you going to do when you drive by your old stores? Mints, gum, seeds, the fake stuff...what? If you don't know what you're gonna do now, you won't have a chance when the nic bitch is really on your ass.

Welcome and congrats on making a life changing decision today. I will look for you on the rolls. In the meantime, read everything you can on this site - it will fuel your motivation. Shout if you have any questions but most importantly, (1) post roll in the morning, (2) keep you promise throughout the day, (3) repeat the next day. Simple as that.

Welcome Eric. Go to the welcome center here and you will find info on how to post roll and what nots. Find your group and post roll and get to know your brothers/sisters. If you need anything feel free to PM me or anyone else.

First time at the site.

Hello fellow addicts! I am not really sure how I ended up here today but am glad that I did. I am a 33 yr old/15ish year dipper and smoker. Mainly smoke when I drink and dip any other time... I have tried to quit so many times and manage to quit one or the other for 6 months here and there, but am finally fed up. I quit on Oct 5 and am finally starting to see the light at the end, however after coming here and reading so many stories about relapse and the first year I am rethinking my "its almost over" feelings... LOL... I have been trying to figure out how the forums work and the roll call, but must admit to being a "forum noob!" I look forward to quitting with all of ya! Keep on Keeping on!
