Hi, this is Brian, first time trying to quit ever. Age 37 been dipping Kodiak/Grizzly since age 16. Quit Saturday after getting thrown out of the house for it. Have a 2 and 11 year old. Day 4: I am very irritable, fatigued, cravings are really bad. I ordered some Bacc Off, feel awful.
Welcome Brian, I'll be the first of many to tell you your intro screams failure. You start off by leaving the failure door wide open. Either quit or don't quit, there is no try. If you are quit, then failure is not an option. Second, do not quit because someone wants you to. You gotta want it yourself. You have to hate the tobacco companies for making you a slave to their product and stealing your money. You got to hate the fact that you are a sorry-ass drug addict. Use your wife and kids for inspiration but quit or yourself. Otherwise you will just blame them for your misery and end up dipping again before long. Now listen to cowgirl and learn to post roll!
Im with notdead on this one. Their is no try in quit. We just QUIT. You can do the same. we have all been where you are. Head on over to the July 13 quit group and post roll and honor your word. If you need any help at all with roll or anything else feel free to pm me.
I'm getting in line too! I "tried " to quit for my wife and daughter many times over my 40 year addiction and I promise you that you will just start ninja dipping until you get caught. KTC is a successful way to quit if you truly want it worse than anything you've ever wanted. No sugar coating it will suck and you'll get mad, pissed and experience feelings you've never experienced before. But if you really want it your balls will grow and you'll be proud of yourself and then the other things in your life will begin to change because you'll no longer be the pathetic slave you've been for 20 years! You still haven't posted roll so get with it and decide if you are committed 100%.

Hi! I'm Angela and while they say there are other chicks here as far as I've seen I'm the only one active right now. Everyone is going to start hounding your thread about go post roll - i suggest you go do it before you get the mother load unleashed on you.

Go to quit groups, choose the august pre hof group. hit the quote button, go to the bottom box and click anywhere there hit ctrl+a, then hit cntrl+x, now click anywhere on the above empty box and hit ctrl+v, scroll down to the last name under the first section that says new quitters pledge for 24 hours....

There is instructions at the top of the thread you can click but I wish someone had just let me read it real quick the first time.

go handle that before everyone starts to jump on you and ill write something about myself
Awe shit - you will be in the july group not the august sorry about that! Join me in my group but beware we haven't really decided on a name and whoever is doing it in the morning can pull some whoppers. :D

I'm a fairly new newbie so I'll let the veterans guide you into all of this...what we do etc.....just those first responses can be rough until you go post roll. Then you get to experience them disect every word of your first posts - that can be brutal too but if you make it thru that gets better too! :D

I'm 34, dipped for 20 years, married, have a 16, 14, and 3 year old and have been quit for 21 days. Your whole feeling awful is only going to get worse - i assure you but it will get better slowly. The only thing that saved my ass besides this internet connection is the fake stuff - I use smokey mountain because it's at walmart and i don't have to pre-order if i run out and am crashing. I feel like its cheating at times but they swear i'm good as long as its no nic.

Try to laugh and let them help take some of the suck out of this. Read, read, read - you will be surprised at everything you can find on here hidden in the bowels of some of the posts. I don't know much but i guess i can say i know about 17 days more than you so let me know if you need anything.
