Moto, you are doing it congrats! Post roll keep going one day at a time. Read read and then read some more. The welcome center was my saving grace the first day. It ges better but worse before it does. One day at a time and I will quit with you each and every day you post roll with us.

Congrats on your quit, Josh. The first days are the hardest. I can't tell you how to forget about dip or how to quit thinking about it. You will think about it a lot. However, if you think about how good you'll feel in about a week, you'll feel proud that you made it that far. Then every day after you can feel proud that you beat this addiction for another day, then another day, and another day and another. Before you know it you're where I am. Day 28. You'll look back and say, I AM NOT GOING THROUGH THOSE 28 DAYS AGAIN. You keep trudging forward and before you know it the urge to dip has passed and is only now a faint memory.

Congrats on a great choice, Moto. You've gotten great advice so far. Just post roll, keep your word, and read read read. Take it one day at a time. Don't think about tomorrow, next week or next years...we'll deal with them when they get here. Just focus on today. YOU GOT THIS...YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Hey Moto it's rough going at first, some more encouragement to be had on live chat, gets more lively after about 7pm. No penalty for misspelling, miskeying, not answering. Only a problem if you don't post roll EVERY DAY. Congrats on posting roll today. I quit with you today.

My name is Kandice, I have gone 37 hours now with no nicotine. I quit smoking at the beginning of the year after smoking for 15 years, and now I have decided that it is time to ktc, after 10+ years. I have dipped Copenhagen, long horn, and skoal anywhere from a can a day to a can and half. My head is pounding and feeling like I am walking through pea soup fog.
Kandice, Welcome to you!

Every person gets their very own intro thread so go here:

Hi all josh here. first day of my quit. its almost lunch here and im starting to get to the rough stuff. the lack of nicotine ive had today is starting to get to my brain. Im sure many others out here are in the same boat as me! if anyone is struggling like I am just give me a reply. We can chat our way through the quit.
Welcome Josh! Glad you found us, you're in the right place.

One thing that sets this place apart is how the accountability quit groups are set up. You will be with September because it is during that month that you will hit 100 days quit and enter the Hall of Fame. You can post wherever you want, but September is YOUR group. Those are the guys (and possibly a girl or two) that you will get to know, watch out for, exchange numbers with, trudge through the difficulties and celebrate with. You can meet a host of fun people in chat too. Once you put yourself out there and give your word you will have more support than you can imagine.

So post up!

You've got this. One day at a time! (ODAAT)

Hi Josh, we have all been exactly where you are at! You're right in the middle of the suck. First, get on over to the welcome center tab, the pink one up top. then get over to your HOF group in the quit area and post roll, this will be your word very day to your September brothers and sisters.

Next, water water water, serious drink more water than you ever have. Helps flush the nic out of your system.

Get your stuff in order, seeds, gum, candy or fake dip or all of them whatever you need to keep that blasted weed out of your mouth.

Your next few days are going to blow. Bear down and stay on the site. Read, look at the cancer pictures, check out the Hall of Fame speeches. Keep your mind occupied. there is a lot of quit here, reach out and get your quit too. We will do anything for you.

Post roll every day, quit for 24 hours and do it again! PM me if you need anything.
