 Really?!?! Did you finally post this in hopes that you'd get a medal or something? Maybe somebody would throw a party? Seems more like bragging than a sincere thank-you.

Regardless of the intention of the post, it indicates to me that you are about as selfish as they come. You've "used" the site, but you haven't given back anything. That's the way this is supposed to work. KTC is a brotherhood, not a damn WalMart where we run by and pick up some quit with no personal involvement. If nothing more than a single daily post in a HOF group, it adds up. It shows solidarity for other newcomers. It gives people faith.

I also was quite a way into my quit before I found this place. But, the difference is that I have given back. I have (hopefully) helped others along the way. In that process, I've built layer upon layer of accountability.

Oh, and WT57 is correct: you'd know by now that we are all addicts, not habitual users. There is a huge difference.

3 Rum - I myself came to this site late. 140 some days into it. I had a ton of reasons....I'm tough, don't need it....I don't quite understand the roll and their lingo...Is my quit 100% sure to stick....etc, etc, etc. Well after a few weeks of being here, I have one thing to say: Nut up and start posting roll. The guys that went before you know better and it does mean something every single day. You want support, get it and give it. Quit lurking and go balls deep. You need help getting acquainted, PM me, I'll help. It's that simple. You posted for a reason. Understand that reason and embrace the quit. With these guys, failure is not an option and addicts need that. You need that.
What Goom says ^^^.
Post roll, get to know your quit bros. Give and get support.

I have used this site off and on since my quit date (4/23/12).  I stumbled upon it with a google search while I was thinking about quiting, now I have recommended this site to everyone I know who chews.  My story is similar to the rest of you, been chewing for years, loose leaf, long cut, even used menthol snuff.  When my wife was pregnant three years ago I said I would quit.  Finally this year was the final straw when my son starting walking around in our living room spitting on the floor trying to be like daddy.  Little did he know daddy was a weak pussy that didn't hold to his word.

I believe these past days not only did I quit a nasty deadly habit, I have also become a stronger person mentally.  I have much to thank those of you who habitually post and those of you who have indirectly called me a pussy for not quiting.  That is what motivates me the most.  Every time I got a craving I came to this site and read - mostly the "Words of Wisdom" topic and it made me want to kick my own ass for thinking I needed a chew.

Thanks to all of you who have contributed to this forum and this site.  Pretty much everything I have read on this site has turned out to be true and listening to what guys have to say who have "been there - done that" has helped me the most.  You all KICK ASS !!!  My next goal is to now get my brother on board.  Its time we ALL be accountable and man-up for our own future and the future we want to enjoy with our loved ones. No more excuses.....its time to FUCKING QUIT.
I'M SORRY IF I COME ACROSS AS AN ASSHOLE BUT SO BE IT!! 3RUM you are a selfish prick!!! Come here to feed off us and never lifting a hand to help anyone else. If you have been around the site you would know that you don't have a "nasty deadly habit", you are an addict.

'Finger' That is what I really hear you say!! 'Finger'
Now hold on? Why do you speak now? Why do you recommend now? I feel like I had a nanny cam set up in my house. So you refer your brother?

What do you expect of him and this site? Should he post roll? Should he keep his word? Should he be there to support and feel obligated to ask for your support.

I am happy you are quit 87 days. I also feel like I didn't get to bleed and succeed with you. Why do I feel robbed but nothing is missing?

When you where a kid and there was a wagon, did you enjoy riding in it? When it was your turn to pull, did you cleverly say that you had to go home? Did you invite others to play with the wagon but made them pull it?

Post roll and take turns riding and pulling but blowing sunshine up my ass isn't the carrot that will get me to pull the wagon. Promise, friendship, experience and loyalty do.

So what is it? Why say surprise! I have been here all along?

Do you have an explanation or are you a joking troll?
