Brett day1 I promise to not poision my body with copenhagen today.

(1) What happened?

(2) Why did it happen?

(3) What are you doing differently this time?

Hey Brett, you don't need a new intro, but you do need to answer these questions.
1)I wasn't committed enough to quit. I didn't truly want to quit. So I failed. I walked away because it was too hard and I didn't want to suffer enough to be quit.
2) Because I was weak and scared to face life without my crutch.
3)This time I am fully comitted to this quit every day. I will read that contract aloud to wife and both of my kids before I take a dip. I will not be reading that contract out loud to anyone much less my family. I will lean on and support my group in all ways possible. I will post roll every day for the rest of my life for as long as this site is operating. I will go to live chat whenever urge seems strong. I will stay quit and die trying. I plan to be quit until I die.

Brett, you obviously know this place works since you've come back. Keep your head down and take the lashings with humility and you can succeed. Take the time to really reflect on why you failed last time and make the necessary changes. Prove to May you are worthy of their support by getting involved and exchanging numbers. Be a leader and WUPP EDD! My number is a PM away. Quit on brother.

My name is Brett I have been addicted to Copenhagen for 34 years. I have tried to quit many times and I am quit for 26 days currently and plan to never put that crap back into my body. I tried to quit in 2012 and became a member here I didn't last long and I caved because I was weak and not ready to quit, This time I have complete resolve to quit and plan to accomplish this through grit and support from group here. I won't to apologize to my first group for bailing and slinking away like a coward. I want to apologize to my new group here in may for coming in with the alias of CopenhagenJunkie69. I was trying to get in a group as soon as possible and didn't know my old name or password so I opened a new one. This was wrong and I have corrected it. I hope to be With May forever nicotine free and strong. Again sorry for the shaky start

25 year user here. Didn't think there was any way in this world that I could quit.
Day 576 here. I was scared shitless like all before me and those including yourself, that are now upon the journey to quit.
I bought into the system. Post roll every day as early as you possibly can.
Get digits from your quit group and others and use them. DO NOT BE AFRAID to use them they will help you in more ways than you can think.

If you meant" what to do next was post roll". I did that. I guess I need to get with a moderator to figure to post roll with this account or figure out an old account.
I'll send a moderator to you. In the mean time, if you are serious, you could go back to your group and start getting to know them by reading all posts in your group from the very first post. That will accomplish several things.

Go!

I was on here a few years back for a few days. I tried to get in with my last log in but I couldn't remember my us er name or password. Didn't know I was doing a "no,no". I guess I wasn't on here long enough to know what I need to do next because I don't. So without being cryptic just let me know. Gotta say not feeling very welcomed here I was just wanting some help and support with this quit.
If what I posted above is gonna run you off, pack it in right now.

Read down below in my signature line. If you can't do any of that and are offended by accountability, you are sumply not ready.

Cryptic? Really? Wow!

Today is day 24 of this quit. I have been here many times but hope and pray this will be my last quit. I have been on this forum before and caved. So I waited this time till I was further along. I have a 34 year history with Copenhagen. It has been with me for most of all of my major life events. It sux but it feels like you have lost a trusted friend when you quit. However this friend is a killer and I know this. The last few days I have been having STRONG urges to go to the store and get a can for some temporary relief (always late at night before I go to bed). But I have held out thus far. I look forward to leaning on this community to help me be successful and I hope to be able to help others get clean from nicotine.
I'm not sure I understand. Have you been a member here before? If so, you need to log in under your original account. If you don't know what that user name was, a moderator or admin will be happy to help you out.

Multiple user names is a no no.

And if you spent anytime here whatsoever, you know what you need to do next.
