Congratulations on making one of the best decisions of your young life. I say "young" life not to insult you or to belittle you or make you feel like you don't have enough life experience, but in order to point out to you that you are young and are saving yourself a lot of pain and grief by realizing early on that quitting this devastating addiction is so important.
Listen VERY carefully. You said that you decided two weeks ago that you were going to quit. You need to be honest with us and yourself...you did not decide to quit two weeks ago BECAUSE YOU DID NOT QUIT. You said that today is your quit date...well, that is all fine and dandy...if it isn't along the same lines as two weeks ago....
First, understand that once you post roll on here, that is your promise to be quit for the day. Period. If you don't keep your word, you are a liar. Does your word mean anything? Second, any nicotine you have in your possession needs to immediately find itself in the toilet and be flushed...dip, chew, cigarettes, cigars, whatever. Third, you post roll every day and you follow the rules of the site. Fourth, read, read, readn and then read some more. There is more advice on this site to help you quit than you could ever hope to have. And a lot of the other stuff is just plain entertaining. Fifth, get involved. One of my favorite sayings is that "quit" is a verb, means it is an action word. You can't be quit if you aren't being actively quit. Post on the boards. Get to know your class. Get to know the vets...well, at least some of the vets....
Above all, be honest about your quit. To yourself, to us, to your family. If you truly want to quit, you are in the best possible places. Hope you decide to stick around, brother.
