Was psyched when I saw the Pack fan. But no posts since March 27th! No doubt you've caved. Be a fucking man and climb back on this horse. Quitting is not some impossibility. Get your mind right and grind. Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute. When your are sick of being chained to an addiction that tells you to put a weed in your mouth, come back, we'll be here....quitting.

Stay strong man, it's a bitch, but you can beat it. Don't fear quitting, it's the beginning of your new life.
Flush any that you have left, do the roll call, hold yourself responsible.

Cancer terrifies me. Quitting was hard, but I did it because I became accountable for myself by posting roll call daily, thus making thousands of other quitters backing my ass up.

Read the Welcome Center, post roll, and don't do this alone.
Some of my fondest and clearest memories are peeing in places that aren't bathrooms.

My advice is to flush any tobacco you have left and quit now. Post roll and promise not to use nicotine today then keep your promise. Then do it again tomorrow. Sounds silly but it works. The first 72 hours will be the worst. You may think you are dying, then you can compare quitting to a pendulum. At first you will have really bad withdrawals. Then you will feel better. Then you will feel bad again. But not quite as bad, and so on and so forth. But it will pass and the freedom you will achieve will make you feel like a jackass for ever using it in the first place.
QLF ODAAT..

When you stop quitting hard, you forget how hard it was.

"When will you put the arrogance and ignorance aside and choose to live and to live with honor and integrity. It's the best fucking feeling in the world. It beats the shit out of feeling like a loser caver. It beats the shit out of knowing that you are nic's bitch. It beats the shit out of getting cancer and dying. This is really hard shit and you have to attack it with a vengeance. Get after it January. Quit like fuck" ~ Bronc

Don't let fear rob you of the resolve that it takes to quit.

What do you have to fear exactly?
Better health? Whiter teeth? Drastically reduced chance of cancer? Self esteem? More money in your pocket? Being an honest man? No more hiding? No more planning your every waking moment around getting your fix?

Damn... That all sounds positive to me.
You can do this man... Be bigger than a weed. Don't let that pathetic crap run your life anymore. It's time for you to call the shots.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

I quit today
« on: March 25, 2015, 12:37:00 AM »
Hi everyone,

I quit chewing today. I've been using cope wintergreen for 7 1/2 years. I'm terrified that I do not have the strength to do this. I've tried quitting before, but I would see a can in someone's pocket or at the gas station and cave to temptation. I know that I need to quit but I'm not sure how to do it.

I got married about six months ago. My wife was always on me about chewing while we were dating and engaged. I tried to quit last October and lasted a month. She hasn't figured out that I'm using again. I'm sick of lying to her-she is the best thing that ever happened to me and deserves better than ot be lied to. I want to break the spell that chew has over me. I would greatly appreciate any advice any of you have.
