Agreed. You have to stop thinking about future quits. We Quit once.

Here is a link to your September 2018 Quit Group.

Post roll there daily. No exceptions. Make your promise, keep your promise.

You see, once you make your promise, if you are a man of your word, nicotine is off the table for the rest of the day. Then you make your promise again early the next morning, and keep it again.

It's a simple plan, and it works if you let it.

Even if this attempt fails, and another attempt, and another attempt, I won't stop trying to quit until I've kicked the can for good.
Get that shit out of your head. Either you are here to quit or you aren't. This place works if you let it but it is not a try and try again system. You have to hate dip with all your heart and be committed to quitting for good today. The only thing nicotine is good for is robbing you of your money and your health, that's it.
Kick that shit to the curb and never look back, NEVER.

Welcome to the quit. Go post roll if you haven't yet.

Forget about any future quits, this is the last time man.

Day 1, June 5, 2018
« on: June 05, 2018, 05:03:00 PM »
Here it is fellas. Day 1, number 6. That's right. This is my 6th attempt at quitting. I've got my arsenal of fake pouches, and I'm ready again. 8 years ago I started dipping. Worst part was, I had it BEAT early on. After about a month of dipping long cut soon after my 18th birthday, I couldn't even smell the stuff without getting sick to my stomach. I don't know what caused it, but I couldn't stand it so I gave it up pretty easily. A few months later, and some idiot almost caused me to wreck my car while driving with a friend in the passenger seat. I was so worked up my hands were shaking on the wheel. My buddy turns to me and says "Here, take a pinch it will calm you down." And boy did it work. 6 months later switched to pouches for the convenience and that was all I needed to be hooked. 8 years, and 5 failed attempts at quitting later and here I am. Day 1, number 6. One thing I won't quit, is quitting. Even if this attempt fails, and another attempt, and another attempt, I won't stop trying to quit until I've kicked the can for good.
