Hello again, I have to be honest my wife typed my first intro because I asked her to since typing seeming impossible at the time. Yes I am quitting cold turkey except for the smokey mountain I use from time to time and am now cutting back on how often I use that. I stopped dipping a few years ago for about 30-45 days and it actually seemed easy, since then I have been trying off and on to muster the courage to face it again. Fortunately that time is now and 4 days in I am feeling good about it. My wife found this website and gave me the information and I am really glad she did, reaching out and knowing others are there winning against not dipping is a tremendous help.
You still have the biggest part of the battle in front of you.
If you use this site, and the knowledge and experience of the quitters who are here to support and guide you, you can win this battle.
As others posted - there is no luck. You either quit or you don't. This isn't a stop tobacco/nicotine for a while website, this is a quit website.
Strap it on, thank your wife for her support, but tell her to step aside, because you can only do this for you. If you plan on quitting for anyone other than yourself, you will fail.
Now you are quit. So stay strong, stay quit, and close that door!
