You made a great decision. The best advice I can give is to participate in this site. Without it, I would never have made it to day 92 so far. Welcome and make sure you post roll-call every day.

I've tried this quit a few times before, but to no avail. I've tried cold turkey, herbals, and chantix. Now, i'm gonna try good old fashioned support...from y'all. Let's hope this works.

I actually started tQuit thursday, and wasn't validated until friday. by then I was on a weekend road trip. I somehow survived three of my worst triggers...road trips, family, and home cooking...and am still on tQuit.

I started the can habit about 5 years ago. I switched over from smoking as I got sober and quit drinking. I've ramped my way to a can a day +, mostly pouches because they're a little more discreet in the office.

here's to day 5...and many more. hopefully i can contribute as much as i take away from the board.
Great attitude man!!! You can do this.... Just look around, we have!!!

Head to the June '06 quit group and say hello - they are going through the same shit as you.

Also go to the chat room, there are good quitters in there at most times.
